Pushkar Lake
According to the Hindu scriptures, the Pushkar Lake is described as a ‘Tirtha Raj’, translated as the king of all pilgrimage sites. No Pushkar tour is considered to be completed without having a dip into the holy Pushkar Lake. The lake is semicircular in shape and it is about 8-10 metres deep. It is surrounded by 52 bathing ghats and more than 400 temples, a magnificent sight to behold.
Brahma Temple
Nestled in the Pushkar valley beyond the Nanga Parbat and the Anasagar Lake, Brahma temple has a special place for the Indians. It is considered to be the only temple of the world that is dedicated to Lord Brahma. It is built with marble and then decorated with silver coins. The temple can be identified from its red spire and an image of a swan (considered to be sacred to Lord Brahma). A chaturmukhi (four faced) idol of the great Lord Brahma is housed at the inner sanctum of the temple.
Gurudwara Singh Sabha
The temple of Gurudwara Singh Sabha, is situated at the eastern part of Pushkar. It was built in the early 19th century to commemorate the visit of the first and the tenth gurus namely Guru Nanak Dev and Guru Gobind Singhji.

By Air
The city Pushkar by air you must check the Pushkar nearest airport. In the Rajasthan, the nearest airport to the Pushkar is in Jaipur. This is 140 km away from the city Pushkar and can make the connection between the metropolitan cities of India like Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Hence if you are planning a trip for Pushkar, you can check Jaipur airport, and from the airport, you can book local cabs. This journey might take nearly 3 hours from Jaipur to Pushkar. The nearest railway station to Pushkar is located in Ajmer. It is 30 minutes away from the Pushkar and connected with the megacities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Jaipur, Bhopal and Bangalore. From the Ajmer station, there are many of the local cabs and buses which can take you to the pilgrimage city - Pushkar. In the train, the travelling fares are also less than the flights.
