How to Reach Spots for Paragliding in Mussoorie

There could pile up a huge amount of anxiety just by the name of Paragliding, and the stranger feeling as you don’t know about the place can add up to lower your zeal and fervour for the flight without the cockpit. Here is your full stop solution to everything you would want to know about how to go for Paragliding in Mussoorie. Calibrate your e-maps or tell the taxi driver, to simply get you to the place of Paragliding take off. The atmosphere of so many flights taking of right in front of your eyes every 5 minutes is enough to get you butterflies in the stomach well before your turn. Para gliding is not just an adventure sport for locals, it is a seasonal festival. Enjoy shopping in the markets along way.

If you want to travel by air hassle-free, the most convenient for you would be the Jolly Grant airport, Dehradun, about 54 Km from Mussoorie. The main railway station of Dehradun is merely 30 odd kilometres from Mussoorie. If you are coming driving yourself or by bus, taxi you will be travelling approximately 275 Km from Delhi to to reach the take-off spot of you dream flight.

Shatabdi Express connects Dehradun and Delhi daily, which will put you closer to your flying spot in 6 hours. Dehradun is connected by trains to major cities like Chandigarh, Mumbai, Saharanpur, Haridwar, etc. In case your address of stay is nearer to the smaller stations reverentially unknown to tourists, there is Raiwala station at a distance of about 50 Km. And the other lesser known station be Harrawala, distant by Mussoorie at 23 Km.

More often than not, paragliders take off from the crest of hills where there are open skies and vast lands to land safe and carefree. And coincidentally such a setting is also apt for small or longer treks to reach up and then fly down. If trekking grabs your interest and is feasible for you, do plan the same.

That’s all you have to fend for before taking the luxurious seat in the paraglider. The experience is surely worth it for all the long travel and hassle that you invoke for yourself because the level of satisfaction is different when you earn such an experience rather than it being served on platter.

Krupa's 7 days trip to Mussoorie

What an amazing trip it was. Being only girls, we were little worried about all the bookings and transports. But tripsailer was always there like a magic wand. All the hotel booked gave us best rooms and an excellent service. We were most worried about the cab & driver but Mr Monu Sharma accompanied us more as a big brother than a driver. Ms Prabha, Mr Sourabh was just a msg/ph call away so we were really relaxed as we just got an idea that all these members were there to make our trip memorable. I insist you rather girls group to go with the tripsailer without any tensions and worries. I am sure they will make ur trip into an awesome experience just like us.

Kumar's 3 days trip to Mussoorie

Everything was fine except to hotel snow valley resort basic facility as i have chosen Luxury room for stay with my family along with one kid. There was no Air Conditioning in any room specially in Restaurant. Hotel view was awesome, hygienic for health and food but need some repair in all room. over all everything was very good. I have planned trip in Mid July-2017. Tripseller/travel triangle have done good job.

Hotel in bhimtal is location wise best, room also very good but room services are bad. Cab driver was not interested to visit us Nainital tour, not proper planning to visit various places.some places mentioned in package which are not covered in course of time. Prashanth's 7 days trip to Mussoorie

It was a pleasant trip and well organized. The locations were planned in correct sequence. The Jungle Camp was the only place of minor discomfort due to average food quality and the neighbouring camps with noisy drunken occupants overnight. Not suitable for families. Bhimtal and River rafting was an outstanding experience !
