How To Reach Himachal From Kolkata

For those wondering how to reach Himachal from Kolkata, the information below can help you in this regard.

Kolkata To Himachal Pradesh By Air

There are no direct flights from Kolkata to Himachal so you can take a flight from Kolkata to Chandigarh and then take a state transport bus from Chandigarh till Shimla. It takes about 3 hours to travel from Kolkata to Himachal Pradesh. The Shimla airport is about 9 kilometers from the city center and you can easily take a cab or private taxi.

Kolkata To Himachal Pradesh By Rail

If you are travelling by train from Kolkata till Himachal, there are no direct trains connecting the two destinations. You can take a train from Kolkata till the Delhi station and then hop on aboard the train to Kalka or Shimla from here. You can also travel by the scenic Kalka to Shimla toy train that takes about 5-6 hours to travel and covers a number of tunnels. This journey takes about 27 hours in total and you can cut down the travel time by taking a flight from Kolkata till Delhi and then take a train from here till Shimla.

Kolkata To Himachal Pradesh By Road

You can travel by cab or private taxi from Kolkata till Himachal and it costs about INR 5 per kilometer. There are also several private and government buses you can travel by from Kolkata until Himachal. These include Volvo A/C Multi Axle Semi-sleeper, Volvo A/C Semi-sleeper and Volvo A/C -Multi Axle Semi-sleeper. You can book these buses online on the Indian bus transport corporation website.

KEWAL KUMAR and ADARSH are worst of them. They will never pick up ur call whenever you call them. They r just d mediators

. They hire bus, cab, tempo from others n book hotel rooms from vendors. They just need to provide service by taking ABUNDANT FEES. Thats their only job. But they fail in that simple job too. Dont ever book from this. U can book ur own vehicle n hotel from d internet but never book from this platform. I would have given them NEGATIVE STARS

And for Manali they said it’s a Luxury room but it was a Delux room only and had a small argument again, But other than that there response and cooperation with the guest was ok.. The only think was happened is the communication gap and there were not able to compensate my lose..

hi as there was no snow..snow was at kokser village but it was not added in my plan so i had to pay extra to travel there..she planned manikaran at the last day of my tour .so i had to go from sissu to maikaran which took almost 8 hrs and still we were not able to reach manikaran as roads were block due to traffic which is common there but she didnt gave us idea about the traffic..so we werent able to visit manikaran..she should have kept manikaran on 3rd day so that it would be of less distance to travel manikaran from manali instead of sissu..so my trip was not worthy because of improper itinerary by travel vichar agent Gitika
