There were minor problems such as changing the itinerary by the travel agent in Phoket i.e. instead of Half day city tour suddenly asking us to come to Phi Phi island, bad and seats too above and too far away from the stage in Fantasia. Otherwise it was well organized, timely. The level of confusion was far less compared to other travel agencies notably Thomas Cook. But Kesari tours were better organised, with better guidance and co-ordination. Lunch in Phi Phi island was superb, stale and rotten in Pataya and purely Jain food in Bangkok. Receiving at airports, transfer to hotels, local travels were timely compared to late picking up, not picking up and not giving time for lunch was common with other tourists. Visa on arrival was harrowing.Unruly, long ques made us to spend nearly 5-6 hrs to get the visa.
But Mr. Partha Sharma was very understanding, accomodative and customer friendly. The ticketing and booking division did a good and fast job.Unfortunately and sadly the local guide in Phoket, a lady cheated us to the tune of 800 bath by telling us that she will buy the tickets for the Big Buddha entrance. Actually there is no ticketing on the hill as we found out from the hawkers there. But we did not want to creeate a scene because we thought that may create problems with the travel agency there because no body wants to hear such complaints about their country men. The second instance was the driver of the high way taxi from bangkok to Pataya asking us to pay the toll of 200 bath. But this time we called up Mr.Ohm who advised /shouted at the taxi driver, and not to take the toll. The lady driver in Pataya was very professional and courteous. The staff at all the three hotels was hospitable.Over all Thailand is a great destination and Travel Triangle are good organizers.
