We had an amazing trip to Nepal. We were travelling with our extended family with ages ranging from 1 to 68, so we did not want a rushed trip. I had a really great trip - particularly want to highlight Sumit's flexibility and responsiveness to adapt to my needs during the trip. Although I was only traveled from Friday morning to Monday Morning, we were able to pack a lot in at the pace I wanted. I originally stayed at the Hyatt Regency for the first two, but I wanted to get into the green/fresh areas for the second night - Sumit quickly found a GEM (trip advisor top rated place) just outside the city at the top of the valley next to the Shivapuri reserve, and after another morning of sights, monuments, and local cuisine I was able to spend the afternoon/night hiking in the fresh air of Nepal and watching sunset/stars/lights over Kathmandu for a really nice night. The next day we were able to explore Bhaktapur enroute to a blissful day/night/morning in Nagarkot before heading home. Seeing sunrise in Nagarkot that silhouetted the distant Everest before heading home was a serene experience. When I wanted to see the Himalayas, Sumit arranged for me to do a 1.5hr mountain flight (BudhaAir) that was really nice too. Special thanks to Anil - my driver - who was outstanding. He was as flexible as he was creative - suggesting local Nepalese cuisine spots that were excellent, and driving me to a random side village outside of Kathmandu so I could go for a long (green) run through the unpaved village areas. Anil even suggested a great run in Nagarkot and waited for me at the halfway point with water. Sumit and Anil - thanks again for an epic long weekend to your beautiful country. Sunrise in Nagarkot. Waking up to a (standard) earthquake. Running through local villages along unpaved trails. Smiling, genuinely nice Nepalese!

We were disappointed with Kathmandu as nothing much was there to see for us. So Nagarkot was the other place which we could visit, but as it was totally fog and with low visibility, not much we could explore. Also, there is nothing available in Nagakot except the clock tower, so sitting at hotel for 2 days was the only option. Kids really got bored sitting at hotel and no other amusements for them. The hotels arranged a cab (on my payment) to visit the clock tower which was the only view. The hotel Arts has good view, but clock tower experience I doubt if it can give view of Mt Everest as it is facing towards the other side. Anyway there was no good sun rise/set view for us. Instead of going to Nagakot, we could have chosen to go Pokhran (though it is little away)if that place can give good view (i don't know). The agent is good and the driver as well. But they left us at Nagarkot and after 2 days picked to Airport and in between we were handicapped and had to depend on hotel to arrange a taxi for 1 hour for which we paid too high. We visited Nepal in mid-June this year. We booked our honeymoon package on 21st April, just 4 days before the unfortunate Nepal earthquake. Family and Friends at home were apprehensive about our trip to Nepal considering the recent change of events. But my partner & I wanted to continue with the trip. To put the apprehensions to rest we started keeping in touch with Mr. Sumit from Snowyoda. He was very helpful and honest in answering all our queries. Kept assuring us that things were coming to normal. He also arranged for us to speak to a few Indian tourists then in Nepal, post the earthquake so that we could get some ground zero updates from them. We went ahead with our plan and it was a fantastic experience. All the travel arrangement were apt and as promised in the trip quotation, hotels were exquisite, food awesome!! Hospitality of the people of Nepal, mind-blowing, even though this trip was just a couple of months after the natural disaster! Hats off to them all!! Our entire trip was nicely planned. A BIG thanks to our guide-turned-friend, Mr. Anil who suggested wonderful places to visit and took us there. A BIG thanks to Mr. Sumit also for all the help he provided locally and for arranging the tour so very well.
