Tarisa resort in Mauritius is certainly not recommended except the tandoor restaurant in Tarisa which provided excellent veg food. In name of superior room, a garbage facing room was provided by our travel agent and despite many requests no change of room was provided. Bad smelling washrooms with no exhaust fans was the heights. Booking through travel triangle is risky in a way that every thing depends on the travel agent you choose. Mauritius is a wonderful destinations with great Indian food and breath taking sea views. Overall it was a great experience but poor rating for Tarisa resort, just ok for verma travel agent and travel triangle. The agent now claims that they don't guarantee the type of room (you can get a room in basement too?), Well if that was told before the booking, then it would have been better.

A wonderful trip.. Maldives was a wonderful experience. After we landed we saw a person Holding a board which had the resort name on it.. when we approched him he greeted us with a warm smile took us to the sitting lounge gave us water and did the formalities of transferin the suitcases. After 15mins we left the airport the speed boat transfer was for 30mins with a warm greeting there as well. They had Wi-Fi too... once we reached the resort. We had a grand welcome.. a traditional welcome with drums and all.. then they took a photo of us and gave it as a gift when we left.. as it was my birthday the next day.. at 12 am they gave us a cake and opened a bottle of champagne. That was a nice gesture. The staffs were very friendly.. one evening they had a small celebration in which they carve our names on a wooden heart and we have to place the heart in the garden space. That is a memorable experience.. overall a great resort. Anatara veli resort Maldives.. and the travel triangle team also did a good job by arranging it for us..
