In a word the trip was excellent. Hotels were given as promised. Only thing that disappponted us is the behaviour of Sikkim Aurora Manager. When we communicated that our package includes dinner and breakfast, he was reluctant to provide us with complimentary food. Room no.504 lock was not working, basin was about to break from the wall. All the room views of hotels provided were excellent. Specially loved Lindsay Himalayan Heights Gangtok, Brething Stone Kalimpong and Green touch Eco Resort Lataguri. Cabs were organised well. Driver Phurba from Silk route is very friendly. Darap village Sukhim Homestay was a cherry on top of cake. Only thing that can be improved is the route. Our itinerary was to cover Ravangla Namchi sightseeing on same day then drop to Pelling. This is absolutely impossible to complete, so we have missed Temi Tea Garden and Samdruptse. When Driver Subh looked our itinerary he said it would not be possible as for Temi Tea garden we needs to go 52kms more. It is a little dissapointing for us as we missed it. It would be great if the agent first consult with the drivers regarding the itinerary, then all the sightseeing could have been covered. Nanda and Indrajit da helped a lot before and during the trip. Would definitely recommend YES TOURISM to all. 1. Sukhim homestay - Darap Village , its garden, campfire and the total environment. 2. Selection of all hotels by Indrajit da except Sikkim Aurora. 3. Views from room from all hotels touched our heart 4. Snowfall and playing with snow at silk route was first time experience for us. 5. Viewing Kanchanjunga from Gangtok Hotel at early morning was mindblowing.

Stay at Lindsay Himalayan Heights was ok. Got a room with a view. But blankets were dirty and didn't get water from room service at night. The Bustee farmhouse had a rustic touch. But it was overpriced. Got twin bed arrangement though we asked for a double mattress. Decoration was way too simple for which we were charged extra. It wasn't included in the package. Candlelit dinner again was overpriced. Though their cook played guitar very well and he sang few songs. They said that they weren't informed for local cultural dance so they couldn't arrange that in last minute. For fishing, they charge extra for equipments and one has to trek for 10kms altogether. Ranka monastery is at nearby location. One day we stayed at Lindsay Cheuden which was a swanky hotel. Its restaurant had good food and prompt service. Inderjit made arrangements for it when we asked for a stay in a good hotel as we were done with the farmhouse. Lastly we were dropped to Siliguri. Guitar play

To begin with, I would like to thank Yes tourism for the impeccable arrangements they had made for my Darjeeling- Kalimpong-Gangtok Trip. In fact, it was not a normal trip. We had planned for a babymoon along with our 7 y old kid. I had informed beforehand Mr. Inderjit and Ms. Nanda regarding the speciality of this vacation so that they may make arrangements accordingly. I would really like to appreciate that they considered my requirement with enough sensibility and accordingly suggested me the spots where I should plan my visit. After discussing with them, I decided to drop Lachen-Lachung (Extremely high altitute), Yumthang and Pelling (Bad road condition) and included Darjeeling. One thing which was most admirable was that what Yes Tourism promised, they delivered every bit of it. My first condition was that although we are only three people, I need an Innova/ Xylo/ Sumo for every trip exceeding 2 hrs. Yes Tourism arranged the vehicles as promised in the itinerary. In darjeeling, I stayed in Hotel Himalayan Retreat and this was the best hotel in the trip. One day before starting the trip, I had serious stomach infection. Upon reaching Darjeeling, the hotel staff was on its toes to help me. In fact, once they even tried to arrange for my medicine at 9 pm and tried to serve me with fruit dinner. You really appreciate, when you get so much attention. The vehicle owner in Darjeeling, Mr. Vijay (and also his brother, Aslam) were really great guys. In fact, after knowing my wife's condition, they were so careful in driving the vehicle, that this is not what you expect from a normal driver. Not a single time any vehicle made us a wait for a single minute. Then we had one night halt in Hotel Whispering Stones, Kalimpong. Though it was a pretty decent hotel, but the caretaker was the only disappointing guy in the whole journey. Courtesy was at its minimal in this hotel. However, we just had to spend a night here, so let it go. The next day, we had Innova for our onwards journey to Gangtok. In Gangtok, we stayed at my company's guesthouse, which was 12 km away from Gangtok. Mr. Inderjit, along with transport operator, Bijay co-ordinated vehicle in an impeccable manner as always. However, one piece of advice, while planning to travel Changu Lake-Baba Mandir, try leaving early say 7 am and first reach Baba Mandir (17000 ft) and while returning come to Changu Lake (12000 ft). Inspite of my insistence to arrive at 7:30, our driver in Gangtok managed to arrive at 8:15 am (Thanks to deadly jam at Gangtok). Due to this, by the time we started our upward journey it was already 10 am. Unfortunately, by this time, there was a massive jam. Owingto this, we could not go Baba Mandir. Further, after 1-2 pm, weather changes abruptly at higher altitude. So better to cover things at higher altitude first. Inderjit is really a very professional person. He responded to my minor changes in plan very positively and changed the arrangements accordingly. He even arranged for final day drop at helipad. My memoir will be incomplete without mentioning Bhaichug Bhutia, another driver at Gangtok. He was such a friendly, well behaved driver. All in all, Yes Tourism arranged their best drivers and hotels for the trip. Last, but not the least, Thanks Travel Triangle. I was a little skeptical earlier regarding selecting Travel Triangle over other famous tour operators. But my decision proved to be a wise decision, which also let me save money :)

Nanda (from yes tourism) was very helpful and courteous in providing regular updates.She called several times to ascertain that our trip is going fine and we are not facing any issues. Before our visit to Lachung and Lachen she called to remind us to carry all necessary medicines as these were remote areas. Good to see such concerns from Nanda. However, due to some employees like Indrajit reputation of Yes Tourism and Travel triangle is dented. He doesn't know how to talk to customers. When I called him for issues I faced during first day of my hotel stay in Darjeeling,Indrajit talked very rudely and very detogately and started shouting on phone. Employees like Indrajit should be taken care of as they spoil the reputation of Yes Tourism. Overall, a nice trip. Support from Nanda. Places like yumthang valley and Gurudongmar lake which were included in itinerary. Hotel stay at woodberry.

Had booked cab only for North Sikkim Trip with Yes Tourism via TravelTriangle. The agent was helpful. All the drivers provided on the trip were on time and polite. They drove with great care and we were comfortable throughout the journey. Will definitely recommend booking via Yes Tourism.

service given by yes tourism for gangtok Darjeeling was good. experienced drivers were provided, good cars, and good hotels. only disappointment was, we were moved to a shady 2 star hotel on the first day of our trip which we did not like, and caused us inconvenience. everything else was good.

Satisfied service

The trip will remain in memories for long long time. The place and the nature’s beauty just makes u forget all negativity and mesmerises you with its beauty all the way. We started our trip from Bagdogra heading towards Darjeeling. The drive and the exciting feeling of start of the trip just hit right nodes with the very old legacy of toy train. We head to Lachen and the drive in itself was an adventure. You could feel the cold till u r bones. But that wasn’t enough there was a lot more Lachen had to offer. The early morning trip to Gurdaongar lake where we witnessed our first snowfall was such a surreal experience. Post that all the places we went it was pure beauty with snow laden hills. A white cap of snow everywhere and anywhere you could see. And never the least the cabs drivers and the hotels offered by travel triangle were very good to accommodate almost all our needs except a few which you cannot ignore. But, all in all very thankful to travel triangle to have give the right advice and make the trip even more memorable. The best memory of my trip is witnessing the first snowfall of my life at Lachen followed by second at Lachung and Yumthang valley followed by third at Tsongo lake. Snowie trip it was.
