When I'd just finalized my trip to Male, I did recommend Travel triangle to many of my colleagues. However, the response after receipt of first payment was pretty much on the downward trend. Further, the untold/ uncontracted payment policies which resulted in fruitless conversation and price hikes left a sour patch before my journey began. Thereafter, included a small watersport activity in the package to make amends.
The disaster that followed was on reaching Male airport, where the person present to receive tourists for Paradise Resort said that my arrival details as provided by my Travel agent was via " Spicejet" and as per the details received by them, we were scheduled to arrive there by noon and not 8:45 AM. But the person was kind enough to take us to the resort in the immediate available boat. The roller coaster ride further took a pitfall in the resort, when all my fellow tourists were given a room and I was told to wait till 1300 hrs as my room could only be allotted then, due to the incorrect details provided to the resort by my travel agent. THIS INDEED WAS A GREAT BEGINNING TO THE WELL PLANNED (booked 05 months in advance) HONEYMOON. To add to my woes again on my return on 27th I'd to pull out a copy of my ticket and convince the hotel staff that I was travelling by Srilankan Airlines as they had again received incorrect details of my return flight being "Spicejet" at an incorrect timing.
I did receive calls seeking feedback but the staff did not bother to check if we had any issues during the stay or any part of the trip., which is a basic in customer service.
I hope this feedback would be considered as an eye opener for the Customer Relations Department of your firm and would initiate necessary reforms in your ongoing policies.
