The agent is nice...every thing was well organized.
Munnar stay was really fantastic.
Hotel was not nice at Thekkady, some construction was going adjacent to hotel and diesel smell was all over in the room.
The houseboat at Alleppy was a life time experience, though Cochin was not a place to stay overnight, only half day was more than enough.
The driver was the biggest spoil sport towards the end of the trip. He was too adamant to be flexible from the itinerary. We had two days time in Cochin, so we wanted to divide places of visit over two days instead of visiting them at one go. But he took us all the places in one day only and we had nothing to do the next day(so we had to visit a mall eventually for shopping). All the more he fooled us by saying that it takes 3 hrs from city to airport so he made us leave at 3 PM from the mall for 8 PM flight. We had to sit idle for almost 4 hrs waiting. This was really frustrating, the driver should be flexible to suit the tourist’s requirement. If we are spending so much over the holiday so I don’t know how much would it take to drive 30-40 kms extra from the itinerary route. Just taking advantage of the fact that we don’t know much about places and distances was really unprofessional.
Apart from this the trip was nice, we had some wonderful memories.
Just a suggestion, food is really spicy everywhere so wherever you go just tell the chef before hand to keep it less spicy.
