Good

I booked a package for travel to Manali, Kullu and Shimla from Delhi. The stay and tour at Manali and Kullu was 3days and it is good. One day journey to shimla in private non-ac bus was a bit uncomfortable, but there is no other way. The stay at Shimla was poor. The local transport and places at shimla were good. The hotel booked by holiday triangle was SWEET HOME which is at a walk-able distance from the Mall road. Service at hotel was good. For local travel, a Maruti Alto car was booked for us. Travel in the car was comfortable, however, the driver tries to skip somethings and cut the distance if one is not careful. Depending completely on the tour agency is not a good idea as they may not completely know everything. One example is Rothang pass. If the journey was properly planned, we could have visited Rothang pass. The system for Rothang pass visit was very rigged. As the govt. is allowing only limited no. of vehicles to the pass, the local taxi union books it completely and charges exorbitant rates at tourists. There are a few HPTDC buses to the valley which start early in the morning. It has to be booked in manali itself, however there is a cache. The bookings will be over real fast. If one has proper info. it can be booked. At solang valley, where we went as Rothang pass is closed, there is nearly nothing. Paragliding is not resumed when we went. Fortunately, as our driver told us the same, we did paragliding in Kullu, by skipping Manikaran visit. ATMs at Manali didn't work probably because of very high no. of tourists and the hotels booked by travel agency demands only cash, which left us empty handed at times. In the entire tour I faced two problems. 1.The stay at Shimla was changed without prior notice when we boarded the bus to Manlai from Delhi, and the hotel was not good. The stay at Shimla was at Hotel swastik inn, the rooms are very congested and the view and ambience at room was poor. Add breakfast and Dinner to that. 2.The payment at hotels was made in cash and the hotels refuse to give any receipt of payment, which leave us with no proof of payment. The status of payment is not reflected in the webpage of the travel agecny also which has us worried. However, the travel agency ensured us it was fine. Despite the above, the agency received calls made by us at almost all times and that made us comfortable. The local transport at Shimla was good. We are well received by Mr. Chandan from the travel agency. The return bus to Delhi was booked in HRTC bus and it was good. We arrived Delhi on time for our return flight. Had a really great time. Everything was well coordinated and the camp staff was really nice. Though the cottage location was impeccable but the staff was kind of rude. But other than that, we had an amazing trip, thanks to trave triangle.

Tour went on smoothly because of locals. But Not very happy with agent. They changed promised Houseboat. Also cab was Tavera instead of promised Etios. My name was not spelled properly at hotels causing hassles at hotel check in.

There was some lacuna as we have not received the complete address of the hotel and the contact details of the person so we faced some what difficulty and there was some time mismatch as we could not see all the places of interest. some of the places we have to cancelled during trip due to time constraints. The hotel at Shrinagar "Triden Kashmir Resort" was having very poor service as we could not get good food and hospitality. The hight is we could not get soap and potable water till night due to their problem saying it was not available with them. Drinking water has to be purchased from them. Yes.. It was a very nice experience

Travel triangle and holiday triangle made my honeymoon memorable.Hotel stay was too good. local Transportation/ driver / CAB service was awesome during whole trip and in all place. holiday triangle is handle good kashmir trip but breakfast and dinner in hotel trident kashmir of srinagar is very low grade, kindly improve it. my best memory is horse riding in pahalgam and snow fall in gulmarg.
