The hotels were good. But prior intimation was needed to make sure heater facility was available. The staff was very helpful. The driver was very negative and was not Bhutan friendly. He discouraged us to visit some places which was unnecessary. He also denied to take us to the tourist spots despite a negotiation with the Travel Agent. The trek to Tiger's nest is amazing. A must do. Try and cover Chelela Pass and Tiger's nest on two different days. Make arrangements such that they are on two days. Carry ample medication if you are not used to travelling in Ghat section. A lot of travel is involved but the experience is worth it.

We had a 9 days trip. Stayed in Guwahati, Shillong-2days, Siliguri, Gangtok-2days, Lachung and Darjeeling. All the hotels were great except the Siliguri one. Food was great in Guwahati, Gangtok, Lachung and Darjeeling. Required improvements: Food in Shillong, Complete stay in Siliguri and facilities in Darjeeling. We faced water issues during the night at Darjeeling. The host in Darjeeling was very friendly and tried to help us as much as possible. The agent who guide us (Tanmoy) was very helpful.

Had a good time in Darjeeling and Lachung. The services provided in Gangtok disappointed a lot. The travel agent(Pradeep) lied because he couldn't get us Nathula pass passes and cab was late by 2 hours in pick up on both days. Trip in Lachung, also the driver(Lama) is a gentleman.
