Boom Lanka Travels

Ours was a short 4N 5D trip, with just two girls in it, with a lot of pluses and minuses while planning the itinerary with Boom Lanka representative, Ridmi. She proved really efficient and had a great understanding of the country geography. She drafted multiple options for us in order to ensure we get the maximum out of this short duration. She ensured total safety and security by assigning the best driver cum guide, Mr. Ruwan , who took us around the place and looked after us like his daughter. He was really humble, all time available, kind and very very helpful. Yes, not to forget he is a great photographer too, we didn't have to depend on selfie because of him. So our itinerary was Land in Colombo, head to Sigiriya (3hrs drive) + Stay a night in Sigiriya (enroute we visited Pinnawala Elephant orphanage,a must visit but make sure u choose your time of visit wisely) , Head to Sigiriya Rock Fort the next morning ( a bit too expensive for the labor it demands from the tourist), Next we headed to Kandy (beautiful city offering it's breathtaking lakeview to the eyes), head to Nuwara Eliya ( a sure must visit), Next we headed to Bentota where Ridmi planned a birthday celebration for us which was very sweet of them.They truly made the evening worth every bit of it. Bentota proved to be the highlight of our trip but we had galled planned for our last day,that little town surprised us equally well with its pretty, narrow lanes and some amazing places to eat at (we fixed the bet at Calorie Count, a must not just for health freaks but for all those who want to indulge into fresh live cooking).In all of this Ridmi and Mr. Ruwan ensured we were satisfied with all the arrangements and stays organised by them. we loved our driver (bandula) he was very helpful, nice and entertaining. I booked the hotels by myself because i found a cheaper price, but i booked the driver through BoomLanka. we liked the beach in Bentota and Heritance Kandalama was amazing. we also loved the kaudulla national park and the river safari. Will come back for sure!

Overall it was really good. Hotels were pretty decent and service was good. Mr Ruwan(our driver) helped to visit good places. He was very polite and patient. Helped us visit places of our interest and also gave details in advance. Breakfast at all three places : Kandy, Nuwara eliya and Bentota was good. Food was bit expensive :(

My family trip to SriLanka with Boom Travel was very nice, smooth and hassle free. Mr. Duncan was there at the airport to receive us on time. He is very polite, professional and smiling person. Though he fell sick and could not continue with us on rest of the journey but then Boom travel arranged another chauffeur for us who was also equally nice and well mannered. Vehicles were in good condition. Boom Travel executive did amazing job in doing all the arrangements and making our trip memorable one. I will definitely recommend others to plan a trip through Boom travel.

Good Nuwaraeliya

Everything about the trip was excellent ... we were a group of 12 and everyone appreciated the way the trip was planned. Expectations were set that you will have to travel long distances as we had to cover several locations. Hotels at the end of the day were comfortable to unwind. Wifi and vegetarian food was a concern for us but we managed with what was available . On the way to ramboda do ask your driver to take you to the chinmaya mission hanuman temple. Beautiful location and would also have an option to have lovely South Indian meals at Annapurni located in the premises. The best lunch we had on our trip. Driver Kumara was excellent and courteous and so was Ridmi staying touch regularly and catering to our requests. Coco royal beach resort was a disappointment. Although the pictures online look great the rooms are not the same. Very rustic and the service from the staff is pathetic. They just don't care and we found them to be rude on several occasions.

I ENJOYED THE TRIP VERY MUCH. OUR DRIVER WAS AMAZING AS WELL. I JUST HAVE SLIGHT DISSATISFACTION WITH SOME OF THE HOTELS BOOKED, ESPECIALLY THE ONE IN DAMBULLA. ITS QUITE DIRTY, THE AREA IS DODGY, THE BATHROOM DIDN'T HAVE WATER HEATER AND THE WIFI WASN'T WORKING. OTHER THAN THAT, I ENJOYED THE TRIP VERY MUCH.

Overall good. Waterfall hotel at Nuwar eliya was only 2star. And it is far off from Nuwar(25kms). The rest of the tour very good. Water rafting was great. Hotels at Kandy, Kalutara wonderful.

Overall trip to Sri Lanka was very nice. Warm welcome from the Airport by Mr Ruwan. For there he was our (Sarathi) who made our journey delightful. He took to the spot what we have requested, food what we thought, shopping what we looked for, on top of it, within our budget (pocket friendly). While planning (ie., before travelling) Chummath and Ridmi have helped us to tailor made our travel plan. Also while in the travel almost every day Ms Ridmi will check our feedback about our travel. Except GSh, Colomo, rest of the hotel were pleased and comfortable. Regarding Breakfast were very good in the hotels, except Lake View Hotel at Nuwara Eliya . Thank you Chummath, Ridmi and Ruwan. Very big thanks to our Sarathi Mr Ruwan who was with us for all the days. Entire Trip :)

Trip was nice ...but very tiring... I didn't know that the places were very far away...so most of the time was spent in the car... In short trip only few places visit should be arranged

We had a well organized trip. Couldn't ask for anymore. Nice hotels, good service and everything was hassle free. Elephant orphanage and river safari.
