Lungba Travels

Had a great trip .Would have appreciated more had d travel agent(lumba travels) informed us in advance that Nathula pass is closed on Monday & Tuesday(mentioned in d itinerary for Monday).Although due to unrest in Darjeeling we landed up not visiting any tourist spots ,the travel agent took good care of us.Cab driver was good but a little stiff.Did not want to stop anywhere except where he wanted to.He took short cuts(very bumpy poor road) where better roads (longer route)were available . Thorough research is a must before planning d trip.

I did lot research and selected Lungba for our trip, TT support was good and on time.However last moment we had to change all HOTEL options due to late bookings, even after booking they changed.They told Dip palace and powering guest house are very good, but they were average and again food was not at all good.Rest hotels were good.The tour plan suggested needed some improvement but rest things were fine.Suggestion: Make early bookings so you can get Hotels of ur choice

It Was a good and memorable Trip.Good support by travel agents throughout the tour., . Overall a very nice trip. Visit to Way to Baba mandir very nice while it was raining and temperature was less,in Gangtok. and visited Tea garden,Himalayan Mountaineering institute, Tibet Refuge camp and Tiger Hill view not visited due to heavy rain in Darjeeling..Unfortunately heavy Rainfall and bad Weather didn't permitted us to visit Darjeeling fully...Hotels ..Alpine retreat in Gangtok is not good .Bad food menu.. . Krishna residency service was not so good .. Lunga travel service was very good.Mr.Deepak is very helpful person...thanks Mr.deepak .. due to heavy traffic many place not seen also time constrain as per plan given by Lunga .. remain all good and nice ..

overall trip was good.... thnx to deepika, neeraj and navin for well arrangement . some drivers are good some was ok.but overall arrangement was good. its a gangtok trip.

I thik on which day arrival at Darjeeling next better to see side seeing and also the day arrival at Gangtok next day will be to visit Baba Mandir and Tschangu lake. Merik and kanchangunja park must add to the package. Awesome .

Mayainn hotel service was very good but Krishna residency service was not so good .we had stay there two days but we got two days same breakfast and dinner. Need to improve your menu. Lunga travel service was very good.Mr.Deepak is very helpful person.

Overall arrangements were Good. Hotels were good at Gangtok and pelling considering amenities and their service. Overall Trip Management was ok.since ly pickup from hotel was arranged after that days trip we were dropped somewhere in a common stop and needed to hire a local taxi from there to hotel.2) Communication Gap and taking clients as taken for granted.3) certain Cab and driver management was poor, no control over.few drivers were gud.4) Trip didn't go as what was in itinerary driver himself decides and skips the location thn hd to argue and visit it.5) misguidance from mr.deepak sinha from lungba travels- driver asked for rs1000 excess to visit a place which was mentioned in itinerary. when contacted deepak he said that it would be refunded by him if its stated in itinerary so we paid that amount and once the trip ended and we asked for the refund he denies to pay it stating that he has removed that place since we requested for a certain budget (but he didn't remove from the final itinerary and it has posted us rs.1000 extra from the package). Worst customer service at the end of the trip and for the refund also. This has indeed affected the feedback and the good impression we had on this travel agent.

It was a memorable trip aranged by Lungba travels the hotels booked by them where standard clean well maitained, with courteous , appretiable services from staff and tasty well cooked food. Drivers of the cars were cooperative.Juniper tree,Tres,Dip palace at Gangtok,Kalimpong,Darjiling respectivly were centraly located.Mr Deepak Sinha of Lungba travels was always in contact with us.thanks for his cooperation.one should prefer travel agents through travel triangle at the place of visit.thanks for cooperation once again. Unfortunately due to bad weather v missed our trip to Nathula ,Tshangu lake.orchid flower garden at Gangtok,Deolo hill,Mangal Dham,pine view nursery at Kalimpong ,PNZ with nature park museum of Bengal with Mountaineering Institute should not be missed at Darjeeling.

Overall a very nice trip. Visit to Hanuman Tok while it was raining and temperature was very less,Bhanjhkara waterfall and Rumtek Monastery in Gangtok.
