me issues related to hotel in Darjiling, but that was resolved quickly.Shushmita from Sikkim Bangal really helped us. she was nice and quite helpful during the trip.Overall that was quite nice trip. Ankit Hotel was good, location was great. Hill facing. staff was helpful. Cab facilities was good.

All hotels accommodation was provided outside city outskirts (approx 7-8 KMS away from city) due to which we could not frequently visit the local market as per our wish. Further getting taxis from Hotel to market and return was another painful task. In Lachung and Darjeeling the alternate accommodation provided was very bad and the room was small and not at all comfortable. Further we had to spend nearly half an hour to get accommodation in Lachung and Darjeeling as they provided email confirmation at the last moment. Also in Darjeeling they did not made the full payment to the hotel due to which we had to shell out the balance payment in order to check out from the hotel and catch the flight. The tour agent had also changed our tour program without consulting us. We had to literally argue with him to adhere to the itinerary. Hotel provided in Gangtok was good with equally good staff and food.

he room was small and smelling.I asked them to change being unsuitable.It took 3 hours for them to get us another accommodation for which they told us to pay additional Rs 4000/ which we did.Though we spent two nights in this hotel but we were not getting hotwater in the morning since the hotel did not have Geyser in each bath room.The tour agent had also changed our tour programme without consulting us.As per the programme we were to visit Peling on the 4th day but he sent us to Darjeeling and from Darjeeling on the 6th day we were sent to Pelling thus increasing our travel time and in the hilly terrain and we had to come from Pelling to Bagdogra airport to catch the flt which too nearly 7 hours.Hotes provided in Gangtok and Pelling were good with equally good staff and food.cab and drivers provided were extremely good.
