My overall rating for the trip is 2/5. Eexpectations about quality of hotel was completely different. Houseboat was good, but no any honeymoon inclusions have been given. Food quality was very poor in all hotels. Not happy with overall services. i will not recommend to anyone.

hotel in thakkedy was not good. and house boat was in very bad condition. except munnar, trip was below average. i won't recommand to book house boat through this portal. cab was in good conditi9n and driver was good. rock and hills resort was very good.

We had booked the houseboat on an extended weekend, and the travel agent was helpful to understand our needs. Backwaters are amazing. Raw beauty which has not lost its charm, in spite of the number of tourists visiting the place. Boat rides in backwaters is an experience. It is like a different world in the backwaters, people are busy doing their activities (we saw people fishing, practicing canoeing skills, moving around, ayurvedic massages on boats...).Boat ride should not be missed. I think the stay in house boats is overhyped, as it can get boring in the night. You can take the normal boat trips (sunrise and sunset slot) and stay in a nice resort. One can have the flexibility of moving around and enjoying the things to offer at night.

Black Forest was not so good, away from Munnar. Thekkady Woods, hotel room was like kitchen size, but cleaned. Alleppey was very good. Enjoyed boating. Fully enjoyed whole day boating and food.
