Good service, good rates. Kashmir is beautiful. Definitely go for shikara rides and horse rides to the mountains. Beware of the bargaining done by local taxis (you still need them even if you have your own vehicle for the trip) and horses. Check out the correct prices in online forums and then negotiate.

The most important attributes of a travel agent are that they should be responsive and accountable. This is the first time we booked a trip through Smiling Trips and we found them to quite responsive and took responsibility of providing a good experience during the trip. Even when there was a problem with the hotel bookings due to a mistake, they quickly acted on it and resolved the problem satisfatorily in a short time. The package which they offered us was quite competitive and we were happy with the cab services and hotel rooms. I was also very happy with the proactive approach which TravelTriangle adopted (Mr. Akarsh was our contact) in ensuring that every thing was in order. Would certainly recommend and use again both Smiling Trips and Travel Triangle. Skiing in Gulmarg.
