Good trip arrangements by Indemen travels. Overall would recommend booking a package with them. We booked a 5 day 6 night meghalaya package. Places we visited were great and driver was helpful and ensured that he always stopped in vegetarian restaurant for lunch. Sanjeev was the coordinator from Indemen. Would suggest a better, quicker response. Felt we were chasing them after payment while before payment they were chasing us. At shillong, hotel provided for day 2 was not worth it. Sanjeev got it changed for day 5.

We customized a tour in Assam-Meghalaya through Unexplored Trip for 7D6N. We had an enjoyable time in the wild, in the nature, in the rain that Cherrapunjee is so famous for and soaking in the rich culture of Assam. About Unexplored Trip: What was done well: 1. Closing on the quote - all travel agents do this well! 2. Customizing the trip to include Double Decker, which was a top priority for us 3. Gave us very thoughtful gifts on day 1. We appreciated this more than anything else because we got to enjoy the local culture by donning a part of their local clothing What could have been better: 1. Customer Service - Closing on a customer (booking the trip) is not the end of the relationship. The agency didn't make an effort to communicate progress (hotel booking, safari booking at Kaziranga etc) and even Travel Triangle was unreachable. I had to keep following up on multiple little things and when I couldn't reach any of them for a couple of days, I almost panicked that I was conned. There was no proactive reach-out to provide critical information needed for the travel. Second, there was no check point with us once the trip started. This is not a good thing. If you want the customer to be satisfied, have a couple of check points to see how they are settling down and if anything needs to be adjusted. 2. Be upfront about how much extra all the entry fees is going to come to - No guidance on what's really worth seeing and what's not and which places have entry fee (which is all of them!). Most of the falls were a waste of money because you see them from far away, especially the Seven Sisters. As tourists, we rely on locals to give us this information so we can utilize our money effectively. 3. Some of the 3 star hotels weren't maintained well. This is not a reflection on the travel agency but I think they should consider this when booking other customers 4. Last but not least, use discretion when a customer complains about the driver - It went fine the initial few days and then we had a conflict with the driver which I expressed to the travel agent I was talking to. I had expected some discretion but because the travel agent complained immediately to the vendor and the vendor called and yelled at the driver, we had to deal with crap for the next 2 days. So, if you are going to complain to the vendor immediately, make sure you change the driver instead of letting the customer deal with it. Also, why was this driver assigned to us if other customers had already complained about him?!

Travel triangle helped my planning my trip to Meghalaya recently. Lots of itineraries were shared for me to compare and choose what works best for us. I choose the Musafir Holiday's package and it worked best for us. The driver and the agent behavior was very good and helpful. We had an excelled 6 days trip and we really enjoyed the stays as well.

Our travel agent has coordinated our 8day Meghalaya trip well. Our accomodation in Shillong and Mawlynnong was really good but the stay in Cherrapunji was not upto the mark. Itinerary was prepared and customised as per our requirement. The cab arranged was very good as well. To summarise my family had a great time in Meghalaya.

We are just back from an amazing trip to Meghalaya.. The vintage trip organised us an awesome one.. Ishika helped us in finalising itinerary, booking stays and experiences and answered all my endless questions. During our trip Gaurav helped us co-ordinating with the hotels and experiences. These guys were so prompt that we used to get reply to our queries in mins. Also aur driver for the trip was very responsive and helpful. Overall a five star to the team

It was good experience with unexplored travel agency. There can be some improvement in the selection of hotels. Rest was fine and cab driver is very good. Overall we enjoyed our trip. Meghalaya is amazing

It was a perfect trip. Raja was very patient in understanding my travel plans and created an itinerary which suited my needs. The driver who took me around to all good places with utmost safety is definitely appreciated . It was my solo trip and I had lot of fun exploring the beauty of Meghalaya .Thanks.

This trip was awesome, I don't know where to start it had all kind of feelings like laughter,pain, wow moments with my wife. Hello, All in all, I would say we had a very wonderful experience in Meghalaya, and a safe one too. This will be a detailed review of my 6D 5N stay in Meghalaya from 25 Feb to 1 Mar. 2024. The driver Hatim Ali picked us up at the airport around 11.30 AM when we landed. We started off to Kazhiranga, and the first day was entirely travel, as Kazhiranga was quite far away and there are highway speed checks and animal crossings, so can't really reach Kazhiranga anytime before 6 hrs of travel. Also, sun sets very early, around 5.30pm, so all plans need to be made before that. The stay in Kazhiranga, Dhanshree Resort was excellent, with amazing food. Our only regret was that we stayed here for just one night. Next day. we did the Jeep safari. at Rs.4000 per Jeep. It was a 3 hour safari through the Central range. and it was worth it. But that's that. There is nothing else to see or do in Kazhiranga. We started off to Shillong right after the Safari. We reached Shillong around 6pm on the 2nd day. The place we stayed here was Treetops residency. We had to climb up the stairs, to reach the entrance. the receptionist greeted us well, and showed us to our rooms. The room was big and cozy, and had heaters. This is much needed, as temperatures drop to 6-7 degrees. The only downside to this day stays was the food. We ordered food from the hotel, and we were disappointed. Food is not good here. On the third day, we travelled to Meghalaya around 8am in the morning. It was just 57kms, so we reached early. Now this was the best day of the entire trip. First we visited the Arwan caves, which was amazing. Then, we went to Noh-kalikai falls. Despite water levels being low, the location and the view was mesmerizing. Then we visited the Masmui caves. The limestone cave was even better, and we spent some good time here. We went to see the Seven sister falls, but water levels were too low. Also, Thangkharang park was closed, when we visited at 4pm, so our driver took us to Eco park, which was good. There is a view point, and lot of area to walk around, in the setting sun, and worth to spend some time here. We wrapped the day, and checked in at our stay, La Kupar. The cottage is good, with neat and cozy rooms. Having wooden walls, its much warmer and fresh. the food was served to our room, and was average. Nothing spectacular. Next day, we visited the Garden of Caves. Now this is a spot we cannot miss in Sohra. A total of 11 amazing spots, including caves, view points, waterfalls, this Garden is truly a feast for our eyes. But beware, we do have to walk a lot, and it takes around 2 hours to complete. Then we made our way to Maylynnong, and trekked a little to the Living root bridge. This is a natural phenomena, and worth the visit. After this, we visited the cleanest city in Asia. We wrapped the day, with stay at Riwar cottage. This being a very remote place, cannot expect much luxury here. The cottage was small but clean. The food in the night was tasty, and the staff were good and responsive. Next day, we went to Dawki in the morning, for the famous Umngot river boat ride. This was the highlight of the trip. On the borders of Bangladesh and Meghalaya, this place is truly a sight for sore eyes. Beware, ask your boat paddler not the veer towards to the Bangladesh border. There is a huge cloud always, and they pass dirty remarks. My wife faced a situation, while we were on the boat. As we did not understand their language, there was nothing much we can do. We finished the ride, and travelled back towards Shillong, through Jowai. The car ride was good, and we visited Krang Shuri and PheePhee falls on the way. This would have been post rainy season, water levels were low. We visited the Laitlum canyons on the way back. This is a view point, with deep gorges. Amazing time here, with photo shoots. Then we travelled towards Shillong. As we reached early. we visited Ward's lake. Amazing place. Also, we went to the famous Police bazaar, the flee market of Shillong. Then, we stayed at TreeTops Residency. Again, disappointing food. Ordering via Zomato was the only option at 09:30 PM for us. On the last day, we got up late, and made our way towards Guwahati airport. Our driver showed us a temple on the way, and we had lunch, and were dropped at the airport. I would like to really appreciate our driver Hatim Ali, he was truly a gentleman, and made sure our stay and journey was safe and pleasant.
