Ocean Park is a marine life theme park based on animals, rides, and shows. It is located in southern Hong Kong Island, covering an area about 91.5 hectares. It was opened in 1977 in Hong Kong. It is popular for its two major attractions, the Waterfront (Lowland) and the Summit (Headland) which are separated by a large mountain. They are both connected by the cable cars and The Ocean Express, which is a funicular train.

The foremost concern of this theme park is promoting and supporting animal conservation throughout Asia and sending a message to the world. Some part of the profits goes to the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation to support projects under wildlife conservation. This makes this park one of a kind. It is a must place to visit for kids and for those who are ready to unleash the kid inside them.This park offers dozens of thrilling rides, beautiful vistas, and world-class animal attractions. Ocean Park has something for everyone which makes it the city’s most popular theme park. It was mentioned in top ten theme parks in Forbes magazine.

The vision of Ocean Park is to combine education, entertainment, and wildlife conservation altogether. Many marine animals like sharks, dolphins, jellyfish and a troop of other fishes from the deep can be seen in this park. The most famous shows are the Dolphin shows and Jellyfish exhibitions, but what makes it a unique tourist attraction is state-of-the-art panda enclosure. It is also famous worldwide for its signature killer whale, Miss Hoi Wai. When it comes to rides this park offers, the thrill seekers will be more than happy. The Dragon roller coaster and The Absyss are the most famous rides and ideal for those who have a thing for high-level adventure and thrill. The Old Hong Kong, which is now taken over by skyscrapers can be seen in this themed area recreating the style of old Hong Kong's streets and landmarks adding some traditional food as well.

Ocean Park is full of attractions for visitors. The top main attractions are divided between The Waterfront and The Summit. The Waterfront consists attractions, namely Aqua City, Amazing Asian Animals and Whiskers Harbour whereas The Summit consists Marine World, Thrill Mountain, Adventure Land, Polar Adventure and The Rainforest. The other most fascinating thing about Ocean Park is the number of shows they host every day. Different shows like The Symbio, The Emperors of the Sky, Ocean Theatre and Whiskers' Theatre performs every day and night making the park more magical. They also run a series of animal encounter programs called "Get Closer to the Animals" which basically allows getting closer in touch with animals like Dolphins and Pandas. Everyone should visit this theme park, which is full of adventure and thrill.
