Turkey Tour Package From Mumbai

Owing to its geography, parts of Turkey fall into Asia and the other half in Europe. It has a diverse history with Greeks, Assyrians, and Armenians all having ruled this region in different time periods.
Naturally, a lot of ideas, cultural practices and literature have been adapted by the people. The majority of the population are Turks with Arab, Kurd and Circassian minorities. The official language is, of course, Turkish. If you've ever wanted to step into the sets of "Ek Tha Tiger," you're in luck! Because we have just the right package for you. Yes, you've guessed it right, we are talking about Turkey. A country quite literally forming a bridge between Europe and Asia. Turkey tour packages from Mumbai let you explore the amalgam of the culture.

Turkey shows diverse geography with some regions being coastal plain areas and others being mountainous. You can find the Taurus Mountains as well as Mount Ararat, the tallest mountain in Turkey. River bodies such as Tigris, Euphrates, and Aras flow through the beautiful valleys. Lakes can also be found here and Lake Van is the largest lake here.

The country is home to Eurasian wildlife. The Eurasian sparrowhawk, wallcreeper, golden eagle, red-fronted serin, Eastern imperial eagle and Caucasus black grouse can be found here. Around 40 National Parks, 80 Wildlife Sanctuaries, 109 Nature Monuments, 189 Nature Parks and 31 Nature Preserve areas can be found in Turkey.

Author of the famous novel, 'The 40 rules of Love,' Elif Shafak has likened Istanbul (the biggest city in Turkey) to an old woman who is young at heart, eternally seeking new stories and new loves to quench its hunger.' In another work, she writes, “'Istanbul is like a huge, colorful Matrushka – you open it and find another doll inside. You open that, only to see a new doll nesting. It is a hall of mirrors where nothing is quite what it seems. One should be cautious when using categories to talk about Istanbul. If there is one thing the city doesn't like, it is clichés.”

Music played by the people of Turkey is inspired by Asian folk music, Persian music, Greek music, Arabic music and Ottoman music. On the UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage list, are the whirling dervishes practiced by followers of Rumi. If you've read 'The 40 rules of Love,' you know what we're talking about.

Turkish painting is also a favorite on our list. Osman Hambi Bey is one of the brilliant painters whose paintings hang at the Pera Museum. The Two Musician Girls and The Tortoise Trainer are two of his famous paintings.

Some dishes from Turkey's cuisine that one must try are doner kebab, pita, lahmacun, kebab, kuzu tandir, and manti.

People who travel to Istanbul have an undying desire to packing along with the beautiful rugs and carpets sold at the local markets. These carpets are intricately woven with patterns and motifs inspired by their traditional and cultural diversity beautiful drawn upon them. Turkey is the melting pot of cultures with roots going back to the Greek, Roman, Persian and Ottoman Empires. It houses beautiful mosques topped with the characteristic dome, bustling streets where one can shop for every luxury and various historical sites with ancient Roman ruins. You've probably guessed by now that the 'Cradle of Civilizations,' the Mesopotamia Civilization corresponds to present-day Turkey. No wonder it has a rich culture, magnificent architecture and monumental ancient ruins.

So, we've caught your attention, huh? If you're slowly but steadily falling in love with this country, then book our Mumbai to Turkey Tour Packages.

Best time to visit Turkey

Turkey in Summer (March to July)

The temperature during summers reaches as high as 40 to 48 degrees Celsius. As you can see, the weather can become extremely uncomfortable to travel to different places in Turkey, therefore, not the most recommended time to book Turkey tour packages from Mumbai. However, if you want to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving; this is the best time for you to explore all these activities and enjoy beach life. Some of the famous festivals that take place during this season are Opera and Ballet Festival.

Turkey in Autumn (August to October)

This is the perfect time for you to explore Turkey as the climate is warm and pleasant. Around September and mid-October, the temperature drops and the climate becomes much cooler. Hotel prices hike up around this time, therefore, you should book your tickets in advance. You can enjoy the International Wine Festival around this time.

Turkey in Winter (November to February)

Winter can be a time for you to visit Turkey if you want to enjoy snow fights and occasional rainfall. The temperature drops to about an average of 10 degrees Celsius with January being the coldest month. As this is not the peak season for Turkey, you can expect lower prices of accommodation. The Whirling Dervish Festival takes place around this time.

How to reach Turkey from Mumbai?

By Air

You can travel to Turkey from Mumbai by air. This is your best option and is also the most comfortable and easiest method to reach Turkey. You can board a flight from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to Atatürk Airport. Some of the airlines that you can look into are Turkish Airlines, Air India, Oman Air, and Kuwait Airlines.

By Train

Quite obviously, you will find no direct trains from Mumbai to Turkey. You will first have to travel to a European country. For instance, Greece, Romania, Germany, Denmark, Italy and Holland. Turkey has well connected to these nations by train.

By Road

Although road travel is possible on paper, it is very inconvenient and we do not recommend it. The journey can last anywhere between 15 to 20 days depending on how many stops you make.

Our trip to Turkey was very well organized and barring a few hiccups, everything went according to plan and we had an amazing experience. Let me elaborate on the great things first. Our cab pick ups were bang on time, I loved the punctuality of the drivers and the on time pick ups and drops made it so muc easier and convenient for us. The cabs were very comfortable especially the private transfers, we got a huge cab. Made us feel like royalty!

Prasad's 9 days trip to Turkey

When we decided to visit Turkiye during end of March, it was well known that it is off-season and the best time to visit was during spring ie. April-May. But, other constraints have compelled us to plan the trip from 24-March 2024 to 03-April 2024. No regrets as Turkiye is always beautiful and well explorable. The initial discussions were over with Mr Abhishek Gupta from Offbeat Trippers and finally we have decided to go with their offer for the 11 day tour covering Istanbul, Kappadocia, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Antalya and back to Istanbul. We kept one day on reserve in Antalya for exploring the beautiful beaches and one day for Istanbul in the end to complete shopping. The tour plan covered all major attractions with internal flights and all airport transfers and hotel accommodations. Daily tours were planned meticulously with perfect time schedules. Daily tours were well executed, mostly in small and comfortable groups, and some of the tour guides were par above excellence. All the parameters were fulfilled in a perfect way without giving a chance for any complaints. Accommodation we chose was all 3-star as we will be in the hotel just for the sleep in the late night and moving out in the early mornings. Those who are very particular about the room size and location may opt 4-star or 5 star accommodations. Turkiye is a place which should be in the bucket list of every travel enthusiast as it gives an awesome and different experience. People are mostly very good and supportive and any other response may be just because of the frustrations as the country is passing through severe inflation. It was all perfectly planned and executed, we could cover the entire stretch as planned without much difficulties. Appreciate Mr Abhishek Gupta for his interactions and availability almost round the clock for any clarifications. If I start writing about the detail itinerary and everyday experiences, pages will not be sufficient here. I just want to say that Turkiye is fantastic and fabulous welcoming you and never skip if you get a chance to visit Turkiye. Big applauses to Offbeat Trippers who made it all possible and I am signing of with utmost satisfaction.

Overall 5 Stars, our Turkey trip with Lykk Travel was an incredible journey filled with unforgettable memories, and we have Ms.Priya Pathak to thank for her exceptional trip planning. Every aspect of our journey was very smoothly orchestrated, including airport transfers and city tours in Antalya, Cappadocia. From traditional kebabs to mouthwatering baklava, each meal was a culinary delight that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our trip. Additionally, stay near the metro in Istanbul during our trip proved to be incredibly convenient and helpful. Loved the baklavas at Hafiz Mustafa. We highly recommend Lykk Travel and Priya Pathak to anyone looking for a truly superb and memorable travel experience.

The trip was very well organized. The WhatsApp group is an excellent idea! The hosts in Turkey were very responsive especially Erman, Duha and Esra. The pickups were dot on time and the vehicles were top class. The accommodations were in central areas. The tour guides were very professional and friendly. Just a few points/suggestions- 1. The tours could be more of sight seeing than promoting expensive shopping stops

Raza's 8 days trip to Turkey

Fly Goldfinch made our 7 nights and 8 days in Turkey very enjoyable. They were always accessible to answer any questions I had, and they did it as quickly as they could. I was able to properly plan my trip thanks to all the information they gave me. I truly want to bring up Sakshi, Amir, and Pooja. Sakshi made easy work of organizing our vacation, Amir handled all of my ad hoc needs and support while we were in Turkey, and Pooja assisted us with obtaining our visas. The best thing about Fly Goldfinch is that all of their Turkish associates were excellent, they were all really timely and supportive. I would especially like to thank Mr. Mehmet and Mr. Ercan for going above and beyond to successfully deliver my engagement ring to Istanbul, which I had left behind in a hotel in Antalya. Many thanks to the fly gold finch team and everyone connected to them.

Amazing trip to Turkey - Istanbul, Cappadocia, Kusadasi and Pamukkale with Travel Lykke. Rahul helped me with the initial hotel and itinerary planning. The Support team consisting of both Turkish travel partners and coordinators from Lykke were connected throughout on WhatsApp. It was a pleasant experience interacting with the Support team handling unexpected situations like change of hotels at the last minute (for no fault of theirs), or managing to get a direct flight instead of a connecting flight (that saved us loads of time and energy). The flight and hotel transfers were impeccably managed. The tour guides were knowledgeable and shared lots of history and details about the tours. Overall, an unforgettable trip with incredible memories

We have had a good experience with Travel Lyke (and corbeico travels team) in regards to our recent Turkey Trip. Although they cut corners at some places, overall it was satisfactory and professionally managed. While Capadoccia aight seeing was thorough, Istanbul sightseeing not enough. Important places like Dolmabache palace and Basilica cistern was not included. Pamukkale-Hierapolis trip was memorable and despite our flight to Istanbul was delayed by 45 minutes, pick up was waiting for us.
