Amara Lanka Tours

Service in general was very good but when we needed to change the last day of our van hire due to everything being closed due to elections we were passed from one person to another and then they stopped taking our calls. We did not expect such a response from Amara Tours & Travels. We would have appreciated a response from them even if it was in the negative. The last day of our van hire was a waste of money.

The worst travel agent possible, never answered calls, bad organising of food, just left us there in foreign land Horrible travel agent !

Nice arrangement by you people .

- Driver was not giving daily quota of water bottles regularly. One day even after reminding also, he did not give any water bottle. - Driver was supposed to take the guests to Gangaram temple in Colombo but they were not taken there, even after reminding. - river was mostly interested in taking the guests to those places where entry fee was exorbitantly high and was not worth visiting. - Driver did not give the SIM card on the first day after arrival. Upon reminding, he gave a SIM card which did not have any charge. People in India were not able to contact the guests as SIM card was not recharged and activated. Finally, I had to recharge the SIM card from India online and then only calls can be made. - Though breakfast was complimentary, guests were served different breakfast at Hotel Heaven Seven in Nuwara Eliya on 9th October. Hotel gave only idli and vada to the guests which is very unfortunate. So, overall, I would give 2.5 out of 5 in the rating.

Our Driver name was Roshan He's very helpful and an excellent driver

It was an excellent trip with Amara Tours. Mr. Ashok's helping nature and support throughout was cherry on the top. They provided us the cheapest package with best facilities like hotel, excursions etc. Mr. Ashok was happy to help whenever asked for, he even made last moment changes on our request. The guide Mr. Pradeep was however not good but none the less 5 stars to Amara Tours.

The Trip was very memorable, The hotels booked were very nice. The driver was courteous how ever, He was unaware of the routes and distance between places, . He was not communicating how to lead the Day. He was driving at 40-50 KM per hr speed on High ways as well, we lost a lot of time on travelling between cities due the same. Travel triangle representatives were not checking on what was happening on the trip and also before the trip no was available to answer questions, This is the first time this has happened to me in Travel triangle .

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Sri Lanka which lasted from 6th July 2019 to 18th July 2019. Everything was made super easy and accessible during the trip due to a responsible driver, AC car and good food. Sri Lanka is truly very peaceful, clean and green country with hospitable and welcoming people. For instance, we were served fresh juices everytime we checked-in in a hotel. This is indeed the best family trip of our life. Thanks to your company 'Amara Lanka Tours' :) Honestly this trip on the whole was an excellent and unforgettable memory itself! To point out, the spectacular Nine Arch Bridge was good for photography. One memorable experience in Nuwara Eliya was staying in luxurious hotels located at the peak of cloudy mountains with waterfall gushing in front and dark-green gardens beneath us. We enjoyed the elephant ride at the Elephant Orphanage in Sirigiya. Moreover, the train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella became an unforgettable experience because of a wonderful scenery we enjoyed from a great height with cold winds splashing our faces. We had a great shopping experience in Colombo in stores like Kandy Uptown and Glitz. Furthermore, watching tea production encouraged us to buy their good-quality teas for our family and friends. Handeling delicate and small turtles was fun along with watching 75 years old turtles at a turtle hatchery. Undoubtedly Sri Lanka is rich in natural beauty and deserves more and more tourists.

Itinerary has been kept intact and the person accompanied us was too good.

I would like to thank Ranuka from Amara lanka for his support during our trip to srilanka , there is an advice to them to provide the right guide or cab driver to take us to the right hotel as we had wasted most of our time in going to the wrong place then followed up with the booking agent & ended up in the middle of the night . As i said ranuka was helpful but am not sure whose fault it was when it came to cordination part.

The day I travelled was on my birthday and I planned to celebrate it but they spoiled it completely. They didn’t follow up to arrange checkin on the booked resort/hotels. Later after an hour got a different room with No Wifi, No TV, No arrangements. So I got to get my day spoiled. I would have got adjusted on any other day but not on my special day. And I could see they hardly respond to us. When we reach their till you get your SIM it will be very difficult to contact anyone. So better get everything clarified or confirmed before you head. Had many view points to look at and driver did put lots of effort on to make the trip complete. Thanks Samman

Excellent experience in Sri Lanka, thanks to Amara travels and travel triangle for arranging logistics. Very good hotels, superb vehicle, driver and guide. Very flexible and accustomed. There are many but trek to worlds highest end point was unbeatable.
