A great experience from start to finish. Having spent many holidays in different countries, you realise that some travel agencies do not deserve of their rating, however this one definitely does. The agency provided guide and driver Mr.C Janarthan was the best. Mr. C Janarthan was very friendly, prompt and helpful through the trip.

It was a nice trip, everything was been taken care of, special mention for Mr.Romesh who accompanied us during the trip.He was very helpful and we appreciate it. Hotels were nice, though hotel at nuwara eliya could have been better.

We had a great trip to Sri lanka. Driver (Mr Deen ) was very co-operative. Hotel at all locations were decent and excellent. Only veg indian food was a problem. We need to survive on bread n butter at most of the time. You should have worked hard on that part. Overall it was amazing. Thank you Amara lanka tour and Mr Deen.

We took a trip to Sri Lanka for our honeymoon and was visiting the country for a good 9 days. Amara Lanka was the only agency that helped us get the max out of the budget we had in mind. Ashok our correspondent from Amara Lanka helped us plan the iternary and suggested the best places to visit in the budget we put forth. 1. Travel iternary: make sure you specify what you want as agency tends to push in too many places for sightseeing in one day. However most of the places suggested were quite worth it and not a waste of time 2. Hotels : Amara Lanka suggested hotels, but since we were on our honeymoon we decided to choose the hotels ourselves. Amara Lanka was good enough to throw in 3 complementary dinners and 1 candle lit dinner,so great job with that! The hotels suggested by the agency however varies from personal budgets. Oakray (kandy) was lovely, rooms and toilet clean, super view, Ramboda hotel had a great view, sea rock villa bentota was the best. Super coral sands In hikkaduwa however was a super let down. 3. Chauffeur and car: we were introduced to Jana our driver who was the biggest help and friend we made at Sri Lanka. He knew his job and took patience in explaining, showing us around and even accommodating our timings! Highly recommend him! The car was clean, inside spacious , AC, music and ample boot space. Tips of advice: communication with the client while on trip could have been nice. We did not hear from Ashok who was our main correspondent the minute we landed in Sri Lanka and once the money was collected! Amara Lanka on the whole did a good job with planning and making our trip wonderfully adventurous and exciting! Whale watching is a must do. We not only saw whales but were lucky to spot some sharks and turtles. Elephant orphanage is nice and interactive but the government run ones are cheaper and have more elephants. Tooth relic temple is beautiful Sita temple is beautiful and a must see Herb and spice garden is a waste of time.

While the vehicle provided was excellent , the driver, though having good driving skills , was little overbearing. He appeared too keen to take us to places of his choice than seeking our choice. Hotel Orchid at Bentota was a big let down. Though ideally located the amenities and maintenance leaves much to be desired.

Overall it was good, but some of the hotels I will not recommend , for example Hotel Kanda Uda. The customer service was bad, and we had to wait for around 1 hour until they fixed our TV, water heater and air-cond. We had to switch rooms as we found ants everywhere in the room. The rest of the hotels were fine. We wished we could have seen the Independence Day parade on the Saturday, but our driver told us we couldn't enter. But when we went to the airport, we saw pictures of other tourist watching the parade. Hence we were upset as to why we couldn't join. The rest of the journey was great. Hotel Peacock Reach is beautiful! Nuwara Eliya was the best place I visited, followed by Kandy.

the first hotel was great the second was very average, the buffet in the hotels could have been better. it has to be Hikkaduwa and the Madu River, it would be the best memory.

Trip to Srilanka was overall a great experience . The 7 days stay covering most parts of srilanka had given a pleasant experience .Sigriya , Nurwaraeliya, kandy , Dambulla temple , Madu river boat riding , Bentota water games are few of the places that stay in our memoeries. All Hotels were good except Super Corals and Hotel 12 that didn't reach our expectations.Driver Devzil was highly patient enough to show all the places planned in iternanry. He was very helpful in exchanging the conversation between us and Srilankans. Thanks to Amara Lanka for making our trip smooth and making us carry good memories.Service from agent Shaan and Ashok was good and the plan they provided was very good and covered almost all places. Sigriya Lion Rock , Nurwaraeliya, kandy , dambulla temple , madu river boat riding , bentota water games , Shopping at colombo are few of the places that stay in our memoeries
