Amara Lanka Tours

It was a way too good trip to Srilanka I would like to thank Arzoo from Travel Triangle , Nishaant from Amar Lanka Tours and Specially our cheuffer Wiston without whom the trip would not be so great. The cab was superb and he showed us all major places and guides also with its history. I would request all that dont think and go for Amara Lanka. Best part is the Unesco Heritage Sigiriya trek and Nuwar eliya view

I loudly recommend Amara Lanka Tour. My Srilanka tour was customized very well and Mr.Renu has patiently answered all my queries and suggested all adventures and best places to visit (maximum coverage in short time frame). I spent 5 days and it was excellent experience. Major attractions seen - Sigiriya port, elephant orphanage, elephant back ride, Nuraliya, River rafting, Galle Port and Bentato Beach front and sports adventures. It is very beautiful places to visit. As promised very good driver Mr. Priyanta was assigned for my trip and he is the key for this success trip. Example for Humanity and patience. Proud about his customer care. Very Good properly allocated in Unathuna and Bentato. People are very friendly. Keep up the excellent work Mr. Renu and Mr. Priyanta. Few Improvement : Triangle initially has allocated a SPOC and his support was not upto the mark. Triangle Commission/services charges was not explained till payment transfer and answer we got is it is mentioned in terms and condition which is not a right approach. First day Fresco water villa was promised but as per my understanding from Hotel that it was not communicated and was waiting for 30 mins for allocation. Wifi was allocated only on lobby area and room allocated was not in promised one instead allocated Fresco Garden. Sight seeing cost - can be communicated upfront to avoid surprises at the last moment.

I would not recommend Amarlanka travels. We had a harrowing evening on day1, where the hotel we had originally accounted for was over booked. We were accommodated in a 2 star hotel.

D tour arranged by Amara travels was organised n great.The hotels were up to the mark except 1 named oak ray which was like a 2 star.The cab and d driver both were good.Driver was very helpful and kind.One hotel was not good but the driver suggested to change it which was a good idea as he suggested us.Amara tour guy Nishan is very helpful and he was in contact wit us always.In all the tour was awesome and great. Thanks Amara tours n travels. We had a bucket full of memories as we were on honeymoon package.D safari was good.D candle light dinner was awesome.D beaches were clean and great.D train ride was memorable.As this was my 2nd tour with travel triangle I enjoyed it .Thanks once again

It was a very great and wonderful experience! Nuwara eliya and mirrisa gave us a very pleasant and romantic memories over the candle light dinner and mouth watering food with a pitchurisque view

Against all the negative reviews, trip organised was very good. Sri Lanka is awesome country to Visit. I had contacted different tour agent before Amara Lanka (from travel traingle) and their 2* hotels were equivalent to 3* of Amara Lanka, but again there was a price difference between this and that. Driver was expecting me to pay for his food, tips, etc When I said that you should get these from Agent, he found some way to get money from me (asking for change, trying to be my guide, asking tolls, etc). Other than that everything was memorable. Please tell driver if we are happy we will give you tips, but not this way.

Our trip started good, the driver was good, the hotel to begin with was also good. Hotels at colombo in the beginning was fine. The hotel at Kandy was amazing. We had a very good time there. problems started as soon as we went to Nuwaraeliya. The hotel property there was fine but the hotel staff was the worst I have ever seen in my life. First they charged us extra 50 dollars for dinner stating it is separate 31 Dec Gala dinner. I understand it is supposed to be extra charged and was fine with it till the time we went to the dinner and it was the worst dinner ever. We were served stale food that day itself and in the name of musicians there were two people sitting somewhere playing old songs on harmonium. For future references of Amara, they kept us serving that Gala dinner food till 2nd Morning when we left the hotel. Please remove that hotel from your list of hotels since it is the worst kitchen staff ever. The hotel staff actually should be ashamed of themselves. They also kind of insulted our poor driver for food as well. For Bentota, our hotel was not what we had expected. We had asked for a 4 star however, the hotel was not even 3 star. This is something which I have a problem with Amara Lanka since they should know their hotels. If I am asking for a good 4 star hotel, there is a reason for that. The hotel which was booked for us at Bentota was not even 3 stars. Please take this as a feedback for your future bookings. Rest all driver, car, tours, planning was amazing.

The driver is very good . We went with a kid and initially I was bit concerned. But he was helpful with the guidance and driving. The only feedback is his English is not that great. So little bit problem in understanding but otherwise a cordial person. Hotel in Nuwara Eliya is not that great but all other hotels are very good. Resorts in Bentota is really good. Muthumani River resort is set in the background of river. We enjoyed the place.

My Sri Lanka tour went as expected apart from few hiccups. SL is a beautiful place to visit with full of nature. Problem faced by me when I was travelling through Amara Lanka tours was that the vehicle given to us was good but it's maintenance was not good. Many a times I was feeling that tyres were shaking. Apart from that , Hotel promised on day 3 at Nuawara Eliya was not at all a hotel, but it was home. I have paid money for 4 star facility but giving a home instead of hotel was pathetic and it was one of the bad experience with AMARA LANKA TOURS. Other hotels were OK. Also they mentioned train journey from Nuawara Eliya to Elle in bold but when inquired they told they have not booked tickets and we have to travel in 2nd class by taking tickets on same day. Leaving travel agency stuff, all other things were good. Jungle safari was good, beaches were good and train journey from Nuawara Eliya to Elle was also mesmerizing. SL as a place was good and full of nature. Besides you can see few Ramayana related stuffs if you like. Our driver was really good and he was explaining all the details about place we visited. Keep up the good work Roshan(his name).

Thanks for a wonderful trip and stay at Srilanka. We really had a awesome time and the best part is our driver Prianta ji who was an excellent driver and very helpful person. I also thanks to the team with zero worries my trip was done :).

Its Unbelivable the way the entire trip was organized by Nishan from Amarlanka travels, Start from the hotel booking till the end it was simply splendid, the tour guide was very genuine and helped us in every places we visited we felt nothing could get better than this to travel it was a lifetime experience & i thank travel triangle for providing me the best service Everything that we did and explored was the best memories especially the Beach resort Club waskaduwa was a living heaven with the hospitality provided

It was an average experience,hotels could have been better

Distance was too long from one destination to other so that we couldn't cover all the places which were mentioned in the quote...... You could have been added some of the interesting places to make the trip worthy rather than showing some useless places. Madu river Safari....... Turtle hatchery

At first I was very apprehensive on booking the tour based on the previous reviews Amara Lanka had received . But Ranuka from Amara Lanka was very helpful helping build the itinerary. A bit too pushy to start with , but I guess that's ok . I took the transport only package from Amara Lanka for the trip, and I feel I got a great deal . The driver chaminda was a really good guy, very professional and punctual. Everything was delivered as promised. We had a smooth and very relaxing trip. Make sure you get every single detail you want, included as a part of the quote to avoid any hiccups during the trip.
