I had plan for my parents and in-laws a kerala trip during christmas vacation. Though the cab & driver was quite comfortable but the choices of hotels were a little below standard and untidy. Rooms had infestations and rodents which was a very disgusting. Also even after the booking was made 4 months before yet rooms were alloted on different floors and far away. Houseboat had ants. Dinner and breakfast of houseboat were served outside the boat at a common point with no variety or range. during my previous experience of houseboat breakfast, lunch dinner and snacks all were prepared in the house. It was quite visible that better hotels were available at better price. Munnar hotel was a good one
