Apple Holidays is part of a larger group of companies with interests in Tourism,Education, Retail, Jewellery and Real Estate in India and Sri Lanka. The group was established in 1978. 

Sharmila Travels and Tours which owns Apple Holidays was setup as an air travel and tour management company in 1985. It received its IATA status in 1990 and was one of the few agents in Sri Lanka to receive the membership during that period. As part of its travel management services, Sharmila Travels & Tours offers airtickets, hotel reservations, transportation services, outbound tour arrangements,destination management services, corporate travel & expense management, seamen transportation and other related services such as visa, insurance, etc. The company is among the top 5 agents in terms of sales for several airlines that serve the SriLankan market. Apple Holidays is equally specialized in Maldives and got best deals which are highly competitive in world market.

Although Travel Triangle was never considered before, we decided to go ahead with them. This allowed resolution of multiple queries and discussions with a few travel agents directly. Couple of points to mention; 1. Coordination with the local agent representatives could have been better. However, despite the odd hours Mr Niraj helped us in solve the issues. 2. Although the hotels were jointly finalized, please be informed that the hotel at Nuwara Eliya was not up to the mark and in no way a 3 star. Having said this, we are very satisfied the way the trip panned out and we look forward to avail TT's services in future. Sigiriya rock is a must visit. Also, Blue Beach resort and the the actual beach on their property is awesome! PS: Entry prices to the places mentioned are a bit steep and please be prepared for shelling out heavily. Cheers Rohit

Had a very good experience during our recent trip to Sri Lanka - thanks a ton to Travel Triangle and their agent Apple Holidays. Would highly recommend them to fellow travellers. Only advice to travellers is that they should recheck the hotel and the type of rooms being booked just to ensure that there is no confusion when they actually land up. Both Travel Triangle and Apple Holidays are very professional and customer centric set ups - however some of the hotels that might get booked (eg we were booked in The Surf Hotel, Bentota - where there was no concept of customer service) might not have the same attitude.
