It received its IATA status in 1990 and was one of the few agents in Sri Lanka to receive the membership during that period. As part of its travel management services, Sharmila Travels & Tours offers airtickets, hotel reservations, transportation services, outbound tour arrangements,destination management services, corporate travel & expense management, seamen transportation and other related services such as visa, insurance, etc. The company is among the top 5 agents in terms of sales for several airlines that serve the SriLankan market. Srilanka Vacation was very good . Chauffeur and guide. were outstanding. All hotels booked we're good except Colombo wonder hotel where service was so bad no tea and coffee inside the room ,breakfast was so tasteless it was smelling we have to throw it in bin . Bentota

The hotels Skyloft & Comfort Bungalow at Kandy & Nuwara Eliya respectively were just budget hotels & not 3 star. The Mandara resort at Mirissa was very good & we strongly recommend this hotel for its location. The hotel at Bentota was changed at last minute from Earl's reef to Waskaduwa. We were provided a Suite room but there were cockroaches & lizards. Looks like the room was kept closed for many days. Veg food was a big problem in this Bentota hotel. The Madu river boat ride is waste of time & money. Dont recommend such worthless locations. The Whale watching at Mirissa was awesome. We saw 3 big Whales & 1 baby Whale. The Elephant orphanage was worth visiting. The Paramotoring (water sport) was a good experience & worth trying. It's like flying in the open.

Sri Lanka trip was well arranged by Vishal & gave lot of information prior to the trip. The Guide/Driver was experienced, professional and made us comfortable throughout the trip. Nice part was the upgrade in room at Bentota. There was no coordination during the trip from the agent or TT. Luckily, there were no issues. Local agent must be experienced enough to plan the trip neatly. I sitting in India & visiting Sri Lanka for the 1st time had to plan effective Itinerary. Nevertheless it was a great experience. This is our 3rd trip through TT & look forward for more trips in future.

I had planned a trip to Sri lanka for 6 days and 5 Nights, the tour was very well organised, the places to see in srilanka was very beautiful all the hotels was very good, my favorite was Mirrisa ( Whale watching ), Gangaramaya temple and seetha eliya temple a special thanks to Ms Shivangi who had wonderfully organised our trip and made our trip memorable trip and looking forward to book the next trip soon.

Hotels were overall good. Hotel staff was helpful. We were promised car with sufficient boot space to accomodate luggages as well as baby stroller. However, it was a struggle to fit eveything into the boot of the assigned car. Travel time was way too long compared to what was mentioned in the itinerary. Due to which, there was hardly any time left to explore cities Kandy/Dambulla on the day of arrival. There wasnt a single day that we left hotel after arriving which means driver was free after 5/6 and we managed dinners on our own. The driver was reluctant to bring us out for dinner and suggested to take an auto-rickshaw. Price list shared for attractions was not latest and verified. When questioned, we were told that those are non peak rates. Why would you provide non peak rate list to someone who is travelling during peak period. We liked our hotels especially at Kandalama , Yala and Bentota. Nuwara Eliya hotel could have been better.

Excellent experience with cab and the driver. Leyon is a very good guy and behaved like we were his personal guests Hotels were good mostly, except Hartron in Nuwara eliya. Service level in mostly hotels was really bad except Reef in Bentota. These hotels try to cut corners Travel agent Shivangi had been a marvellous support, she mostly advised well for tour plan except one instance where I was wrongly parked in Nuwara Eliya, this could have been avoided Plus I was told that train tickets were first class but actually tickets given to me were 2nd class. So there is scope of improvement Time spent in Sigiriya and Kandy

We had an issue with our hotel in nuwra eliya....the TA was prompt to change it at last minute. It is really appreciated. The cab had to be changed in between since the AC conked off but it was changed later on. The driver raja was good but it felt he was always in hurry to drop our at the hotel. Thank you for changing our hotel last minute. This could have spoiled our trip but it turned out to be awesome
