Sharmila Travels and Tours which owns Apple Holidays was setup as an air travel and tour management company in 1985. It received its IATA status in 1990 and was one of the few agents in Sri Lanka to receive the membership during that period. As part of its travel management services, Sharmila Travels & Tours offers airtickets, hotel reservations, transportation services, outbound tour arrangements,destination management services, corporate travel & expense management, seamen transportation and other related services such as visa, insurance, etc. The company is among the top 5 agents in terms of sales for several airlines that serve the SriLankan market. Apple Holidays is equally specialized in Maldives and got best deals which are highly competitive in world market.

The Local Agent, did very well in hotels selections and their tour guide was nothing less than PERFECT. Kandy is a place worth any penny we spent and moments. Picking up from Airport to colombo, to Kandy, touring around and back to airport was excellent in timing manner, safety and gentle. Apple Holidays have done their best and we (self and wife) appercite very much the services rendered. Surely I recommend Apple Holidays and KANDY for my friends and relatives.

Apple Holidays treated us good. Only thing is we were not informed of the road travel durations before. We thought it would be a short journey from kandy to Colombo like 3 to 4 hours but actually it took us 6 hours which made the trip a lot hectic. Travel time/duration should be pre-informed to the customers earlier. Rest everything was good.

Quick reply from the Travel Triangle but I am still disappointed when I reached to Nuwara elleya, because I've found that the Hotel booked was only Guest houses instead of 5 or 4 Star hotels. Before I went to Sri lanka I recommended some 4 and 5 star hotelsand thereware some vacancy but apple travel recommended another hotels when I arrived I found They are guest houses and very far from town there fore a lot of time wested I did not enjoy in Nuwaraellya at all I paid for 4 and 5 star hotels but I stayed in Guest house. Seven heaven hotel is a two star and would seriously not recommend anyone to book this Hotel.The hotels like Joe Habana is good,swiss residence is average. Overall a good trip but food is a big issue in Dumbula.
