Apple Holidays

We had a very good experience in our Sri Lankan family holiday with Apple Holidays. Some of the hotels were a little below expectations with regards to the cleanliness of rooms and restrooms otherwise everything was fine. Mr. Dilip, our driver, was more than helpful and was essential in making our visit a memorable one.

Well the trip was amazing, The Driver Mr. Mervin is just a amazing guy, hope you guys recommend him to others, best driver guide to have for the journey... one thing that we felt lagging were the Hotels, the hotel locations were amazing but out of three hotels two hotels didn't have TV neither there wifi were working properly, so communication were bit difficult. All the places were amazing!!!

Thank you Stuti for making the arrangements and being available for any queries/issues. Overall experience was good and I liked the hotels as per the price point, except for the last one in Kandy. Food was average with limited options available for vegetarians. The car was great and the chauffeur was helpful and humble. However the experience was always money focused with him. He took us to places to buy Sri Lankan handicrafts which was 5 times the cost I found later at government owned centers for exactly similar products. On confronting he had no straight answer and kept going back to the shops from where we bought tea/handicrafts/leather products etc. once we left and am sure this was for his cut on the transaction. I liked his friendly and helpful demeanour but he wanted to do the trip by his routes and timings and did not listen to us and the confusion cost us more at many places. This also led our trip to get a bit chaotic and reaching out to Stuti during the initial days. I like your service and planning but there seems to be a gap in coordination between the India and SL teams. Also we were visiting the place on our first anniversary and did not mind paying extra at some places, but please keep the chauffeurs in check as they keep asking for tips indirectly and to our face. We also paid for his food when it was told upfront that it was included in the package. Usually US/Britain/other nationals might not mind the surplus cost/taking tourists to uber expensive shopping places and eateries and unnecessary tips and donations which the chauffeur kept pushing during our journeys which Indians would. The rationale was it is only half or less amount when converted to INR or that you paid only 200 as tip, the American lady gave 1000. This is upsetting and irritating as the boards clearly say ‘NO tips’ at many places and the driver makes you pay forcefully and on denial gives tips on his behalf to embarrass us. Thanks for all your effort and support. Would recommend friends and family to avail services from you with tab bit of caution. Thanks Stuti. :)

Hotels we're good but not satisfied with the food. They had a very limited menu but the taste was also not that great. Cab n chauffeur we're excellent. We didn't face any problem with that. Overall a very good experience with travel triangle apple holidays.

Everything was nice, Only you need to check if your driver is cooperative enough to take you other places by paying additional cost and doesn't try to get you looted by taking to expensive restaurants and specific boat safaris where they have their cut decided. I was charged nearly 3 times compared to what other places had to offer. Ramboda is nice place, try to stay there more if you time. Bentota Beach is ok it was hot and humid. Cinnemon bey hotel rooms were not that great. Buffet was good. Ala carte is pathetic.

Our Lanka trip was smooth and comfortable overall because of Ms Stuti Gupta. She ensured that all our requirements were met and maintained constant touch to fill up any gaps that popped up. We were a group of two families. In Kandy one family stayed in Lagone City and the other one in Sandriana. Sandrina had a good view. But both the hotels had bad breakfast. Infact there was nothing to eat even at 8:30 am. The rooms were neat and attitude of the staff was courteous. We stayed in Oak Ray Tea Bush in Nuwara Eliya. The hotel was pricey. It did not have a swimming pool. It was located 17kms from the Little England region. The property was decent and good for relaxation. Not very suitable for families with kids who would be interested in little sources of amusement around the place of stay as the hotel by itself did not have any recreational facility. They did have live music on one of the two nights that we stayed there. We stayed in Jie Jie by Jetwing in Bentota. The hotel was good and had a private beach. The environment was lively and breakfast was served till 10. The main gate of the hotel was a manned railway crossing. Much of a dare! Our experience with the first cab driver was bad. He was extremely laid back and tried to dissuade us from visiting any place. However, when we communicated this to Stuti, she got the driver replaced through the agent. Our second driver, Mr Danush Priyankara was good and gave us a good travelling experience in Lanka. Of the places we visited, strawberry farm was a disaster. Botanical gardens were good. Madu river cruise was good. Turtle farm was interesting. Cultural show was also good. Overall, the experience was 3*

Liked all the hotels except for the hotel in bentota(earls reef) All good memories

Ms. Stuti had planned the trip with agent perfectly. I had absolutely no trouble with my twins of 5 years. All hotels kitchen staff were helpfull in preparing the food for twins we had carriedalong with us. Beaches... Hill station at Nuwara Eliya n Boat ride on Madhu river

Stamford hotel need a big change This trip made big change in my life

A trip to SriLanka was just memorable starting pickup from Airpot by Mr. Priya till drop back to Airport. He is Just best chauffer have come across. Thanks to Travel triangle & apple for making our trip memorable. Thanks to Ms. Stuti Gupta for advising good hotels ( Skyloft at Kandy was just excellent ) A piece of small advice on Hotels, please check their breakfast arrangements. Rest All were just perfect and had a nice time in Sri Lanka.

Arrangements were as expected The hotels were upto mark. As basic idea was to have relaxed holiday with basic sightseeing which was achieved. Earls Regency arrangements were very good. The rooms alloted at Hotel Mount Lavania were not upto mark but staff was very co-operative and gave us good rooms by evening. Rest of stay was very nice

It was a good trip and everything was managed really well. We had enough time for activities and also to rest.

Everything promised was delivered. Good end to end service by Travel Triangle.
