Sharmila Travels and Tours which owns Apple Holidays was setup as an air travel and tour management company in 1985. It received its IATA status in 1990 and was one of the few agents in Sri Lanka to receive the membership during that period. As part of its travel management services, Sharmila Travels & Tours offers airtickets, hotel reservations, transportation services, outbound tour arrangements,destination management services, corporate travel & expense management, seamen transportation and other related services such as visa, insurance, etc. The company is among the top 5 agents in terms of sales for several airlines that serve the SriLankan market. Apple Holidays is equally specialized in Maldives and got best deals which are highly competitive in world market.

SriLanka trip was not bad but little hectic. Stuti helped us a lot in trip planning and resolving issue.Avoid going too many places when you have a kid. Also avoid eating food from local resturant where you dont find much hygine.

Hi, Thanks for making all arrangements. Everything was managed systematically especially the chauffeur was very helpful and friendly. Although I just have one suggestion for the team, kindly include the approximate entry fees for excursions, I missed out on a few because I wasn't carry enough cash.

Overall the trip is awesome, especially liked the Chauffeur guide Mr. Jagath. Very impressed with his behavior, knowledge of the places, timeliness, enthusiasm & the way he managed the trip. However there are some negative points as well, 1. Some of the hotels are not as per the expectations. 3 out of 5 hotels are not even 4-star properties 2. Initial 3 days are too much of hectic. Too many things planned on the same day as well as transit to a different city. Rest all are good and memorable trip for me and my family. Regards, Debasish

We would appreciate if we were informed about the entrance fees prior to travelling in a foreign country as there is scarcity of foreign currency. Overall it was a good experience. The hotels were awesome and the car was too good.

Had an awesome experience with Apple Holidays on my trip to Sri lanka in Jan 2019. The Best part about the trip were the hotels , All the rooms had an Amazing view and the rooms were super clean and comfy. Thanks for making this trip a memorable one . The guide (Mr.Nishanth) was also very friendly and helped us a lot in terms of arranging food and communicating with the locals.

It was a memorable trip. Although the 4 star hotels were not that good in Kandy and Nuwara Eliya. In Nuwara Eliya we were offered the most corner room in the basement which was not warm amd was shabby. We requested and then they changed it. Our driver had an emergency and to arrange for a new driver/guide who was very quite and he was nowhere near to a guide. We had to hire guides at various locations to get the understanding of the places. Stay at Earl's Reef at Bentota Beach

one day stay at a hotel was suddenly changed by agent and it was worst and waste of our money. no blankets, no TV, no single bed and no good food. was a nightmare and sri Lankan agent dint even bothered to check or call back to manage it. support from India side was good, but at their end it was bad.

Good service from TT advisor(Neeraj) with utmost flexibility and cooperation. Thanks to him. Great Guide cum driver at Srilanka, who was very friendly and patient. Special thanks to the Chauffeur- Manjulan and Mr.Thilak who was our point of contact at Srilanka. Overall a great experience expect 2 places. 1. Thuruliya lodge Nuwara Iliya- very worst service at the hotel. 2. GSH Colombo- way too small room. Not even enough space for keeping the luggage. Only 2 disappointment in a great and memorable trip. 1.Mirissa Whale Watching 2. Hotel location in Bentota- Blue beach Wadduwa.

The hotel in Colombo was not upto the mark of a four star hotel. Citrus and Golden ridge both were a dream to stay in with outstanding service and food. Thilanka in Kandy was a good hotel. Ashoka was of great help as a chaffeur/guide and had good cab. Bentota and nuwaraeliya were the highlights of the trip.
