Delhi To Shimla By Rail

If you plan on travelling by train from Shimla to Delhi, you can hop on the narrow gauge line with Kalka (96 km). From here, you can climb aboard the toy train that passes through lofty arched bridges and 107 tunnels. This total journey takes about six hours.

Delhi To Shimla By Road

There are regular Himachal Road Transport Corporation buses plying between Shimla and Delhi. You can take an overnight air conditioned luxury bus from ISBT Kashmiri Gate till Shimla which leave either early in the morning or late at night. This bus ride takes about 9 hours.
