Places To Visit In Spain

Spain is counted among some of the most beautiful countries of the world, in no small part thanks to its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Needless to say, there are hundreds if not thousands of places to visit in Spain that can be ideal for people from all walks of life, and all over the world. If you are looking for visiting world heritage spots that have helped shape Spain into what it is today, or if you are looking for the wonders of beauty then Spain is the right place for you. Some of the most important Spain tourist places include Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, Sierra Nevada, Valencia, Ibiza and Toledo among many, many others. Although the majority of the Spain attractions are in the above areas, the other cities of Spain are also worth a visit, if not for the history and culture, then for the food and the festivals.

Some of the most important places to visit in Spain include the Puerta del Sol, famed to be the heart of Madrid as well as entire Spain. It is a large plaza in the city center that is home to shops, festivals, fairs, street performances and other important gatherings. If in Madrid and using public transport, then tourists are sure to pass through this area at least once. The nightlife of Madrid is also pretty famous, and Puerta del Sol is where all the action takes place.

Barcelona is also famed for its jazzy nightlife and street performances. If talking about Barcelona then one of the most important sights here is the Sagrada Familia, which is a Roman Catholic Church left unfinished by Antoni Gaudi. It is among one of the most popular places to see in Spain because of its troubled history. As long as you are in the city, why not visit Park Guell in Barcelona, which is a public park located on Carmel Hill.

When concocting a list of the best places to visit in Spain, can the Alhambra be far behind? Located in Granada, the Alhambra is a magnificent palace with museums and gorgeous fountains. In Seville, the Alcazar Palace is a must visit, for its ornate gardens and lush gardens full of intricately carved fountains. For those who love to explore the flora and fauna of a new country, there is the Teide National Park in Tenerife. Apart from the usual mix of strange flowers and stranger animals, the park is also home to a volcano!

Other unimaginable beautiful places in Spain include Gran Canaria, where the beaches are sugary and sun-kissed, whereas the sea is gentle and a clear turquoise. What else can one ask for, when on a holiday? Whenever you decide to visit Spain, make sure that these places are on top of your must visit list.
