Being an island, people often wonder how to reach Phuket easily. The best way to reach Phuket is via taking a flight to Phuket International Airport, which is about 32 km from the centre of the city. Phuket is well connected to different parts of the world through flight and bus services. With numerous flights, like: Jet Airways, Thai Airways, Etihad, Singapore Airlines, and more operating to and fro between Phuket and Indian cities, one can conveniently cover the India to Phuket distance of approximately 3000 kms in 3 hours and 40 minutes or more.

Though there are no railway stations in Phuket, one can either take a bus or ferry from Bangkok up to Phuket. Bangkok to Phuket distance is about 840 km. One can either take a bus or ferry from Bangkok to reach Phuket, depending on their budgets and time.

It is well connected to different parts of Thailand. The airport has two terminals in which the terminal-1 is for international flights and terminal-2 is for domestic flights. If one is facing problems in getting flights from India to Phuket, then they can take a flight up to Bangkok and travel to Phuket by air, ferry or road. There are many flights from Bangkok to Phuket daily.

Traveling to Phuket by bus or car can be quite tedious and time-consuming. India to Phuket route is via Myanmar. I recently had a family vacay in Thailand which I planned through Tripoholic and while most of it went well, it could have been better. I had taken time out to plan an itinerary with Tripoholic, but on the date of travel just as we were headed to the airport I got a Travel Voucher in which the schedules were bungled up and I verbally stated that so long as there is no deviation in the printed and mutually agreed itinerary shared earlier, I am ok with the trip. But certain things didn't go as expected, such as scuba diving. Thankfully, a local tour agent there helped optimize the trip for us. My suggestions would be giving a visual/video idea to a customer of what to expect from an agree itinerary. Otherwise the trip was fine.
