Because, there are a plethora of places to visit in Mumbai catering to every kind of traveler, including nature lover, history buff, religious souls, wildlife enthusiast, and even adventure-junkies. In addition to that, if you are seeking a place where you can indulge in complete tranquility, then its striking beaches are ready to pamper your soul.

Let’s take a look at the below list of some of the best places to visit in Mumbai that you must cover during your next excursion.

Gateway of India: Undoubtedly, one of the most popular attractions in the City of Dreams, the Gateway of India sits on the southern zone. Proudly overlooking the Arabian Sea, the magnificent edifice was established in the year 1924 to commemorate the visit of Queen Mary and King George V to Mumbai. Designed by architect George Wittet, this 26 meter high architecture is one of the most defining monuments in the city. Also served as an entry point to India during the British Raj, it is often referred to as the Taj mahal of Mumbai.

Marine Drive: Shaped like an inverted C, Marine Drive is one of the must-visit places on a Mumbai sightseeing tour. Sprawling over an area of 3 km from Nariman Point to Malabar Hills, this long boulevard lets you take delight in a romantic stroll along the Mumbai south coast. Choose to take a drive here as dusk falls, and you may grab a chance to cherish a spellbinding sunset view that truly defines the city as the City of Dreams. Listed amongst the posh areas, and decked with some high-end buildings, the dazzling stretch is worth visiting.

Siddhivinayak Temple: Dedicated to Lord Ganesha, Siddhivinayak Temple is one of the most sacred shrines not only in Mumbai but in India. Established in the year 1801 in the Prabhadevi area, it is often frequented by superstars of Bollywood. In fact, the temple draws devotees from all across the globe, making it one of the most sought-after Mumbai attractions. Believed to be self-manifested, the statue of Lord Ganesha fulfils every visitor’s wish here. If you are a religious soul, and want to seek the divine blessings, do come here for a blissful experience.

Juhu Beach: An excursion to Mumbai is incomplete without a day spent at Juhu Beach. Nestled on Juhu Tara Road, it is, without a doubt, the star attraction of the city. Fringed with sandy stretches and lush palm trees, the romantic landscape make it one of the best places to visit in Mumbai for couples. Take a stroll here during the sunset or sunrise, and the captivating view may just beguile you for a visit every next day. Crammed with numerous food stalls and amusement parks, it never fails to entice a true explorer in you.

Elephanta Caves: If you believe the city of Mumbai is all about Bollywood and beaches, let us break your myth. Housing an architecture from the medieval times, called Elephanta Caves, the list of top places to visit in Mumbai is not devoid of historical attractions. I got the feedback from the guest for which I booked the trip they said it was very good until the last hotel named hotel maharaja was booked for us, there were cockroaches and bad smell in the room and this ruined the whole experience, I have given 7 because of that only else this whole trip was 9/10

Ramaswamy's 5 days trip to Mumbai

Hotels booked are not as expected and situated away from main area. Hotel Aristo at Lonavala is below average. Cab driver was very helpful but always on mobile during driving which I have advised him frequently not to attend phone calls during driving but not followed. Some times he leaves us on the road instead of nearby parking lot to avoid parking fee. Despite some setbacks we enjoyed well. When we went Orissa tour during Feb.25 booked through you, everything was fine
