Sharmila Travels and Tours which owns Apple Holidays was setup as an air travel and tour management company in 1985. It received its IATA status in 1990 and was one of the few agents in Sri Lanka to receive the membership during that period. As part of its travel management services, Sharmila Travels & Tours offers airtickets, hotel reservations, transportation services, outbound tour arrangements,destination management services, corporate travel & expense management, seamen transportation and other related services such as visa, insurance, etc. The company is among the top 5 agents in terms of sales for several airlines that serve the SriLankan market. We undertook 11 days tour of Sri Lanka from 29th Feb to 10th March 2020 and visited Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Mirissa, Bentota and Colombo. The entire tour was well planned by the travel agency and it was quite comfortable tour. Taxi driver with luxurious sedan was with us for the entire tour from day one and provided Sim card for connectivity and also worked as guide. We stayed for 2 days at certain places but no local sightseeing on the first day was arranged by the Agency. At some places food was not to our taste. In all tour was very satisfying and comfortable.

Our trip to srilanka was a great experience. The entry fares to the places which we visited was not similar to that mentioned earlier.. The trip advisor was not in contact nor replied as we reached to srilanka. Though in planning the trip he was helpful. Hope the communication goes proper with the travellers. Cab driver was helpful but a little more patience is required. We celebrated our anniversary. The hotel arrangements where very good as mentioned to trip advisor .

We had a wonderful trip, the representative from traveltriangle Niraj was very accessible, clear and honest. Before our trip our itinerary was clearly explained to us and any queries on it were promptly addressed by Niraj. During our trip everything was well coordinated with all the concerned parties and communicated to us a day in advance and every thing was smoothly done. Loved the experience we had with traveltriangle and will be looking forward for more trips with them in the near future. The halong bay cruise was very memorable.

Travel Triangle gave us one of the best trip memories. The cab & driver facilities were excellent. Although, on the first day, Sandriana Lake view Hotel was not up to 3 start expectations, but Apple Holidays in collaboration with Travel Triangle took the feedback and made sure to give the best rooms for the rest of the days. We had a very nice road trip and would definitely recommend it Stay in Nuwara Eliya and Scuba diving in Bentota

Hotels were good but were very far from the promised locations. Like instead of Nuwarailiya and bentota, hotels were in another city. It was very disappointing. Like I expected to stay in the hill station for 1 night. But the hotel provided was down the hill. Also the hotel for the beach location was not in Bentota.

I liked my first and 3rd hotel which was booked they were really good but I didn't like the 2nd hotel in nuwara Elia ......cab was good but I think the driver always tried to add his commission every time we asked him to book something for us

Hotel Kandyan in Kandy was awesome and the buffet spread was quite good. Day 2 we reached Bentota (Joe's Beach resort) at around 2:30 and till then room was not ready, we have to wait another half an hour to get the room. Strange that the hotel was providing vegan food for the buffet. So we requested for fish. The fish steak was good but we were not allowed to eat vegetarian dishes. Day 3 we went to Colombo from Bentota, the city tour was really good, we spend some quality time at Galle Green Face as it was really close to our Colombo hotel (Wonder Hotel), food served in this hotel was average. As a whole it was a good budget trip.
