Hi, our trip of 7N8D with 13 people was beyond expectations. We had a very good time in SL. Our driver Mr Ishad did as excellent job, his patience and never say NO for a question really made our trip easy n smooth. He helped us thru our difficult time when my son was sick with food poisoning, he took the trouble to take us to hospital and was always with us. We can’t thank him enough. Besides that out hotels were very good except for Berjaya Colombo which seriously need an urgent upgrade, omg looks so run down like a dungeon. As for Amagi beach resort the staff should be prepared to receive guests at any point of time. But overall the staff at all hotels were very friendly and helpful. Direct link had done a very good job with a very reasonable rate.. thanks to Mr Akarsh of travel triangle who has been very helpful from the beginning of my booking till the end of the trip, he gave very fast n good response whenever I had any questions/doubt.. thumbs up to all who made our trip to SL a pleasant and memorable one. Very memorable trip

It was a very good tour specially when you consider that It was planned for a big family. Direct Link was excellent right from the start. Quotation, follow up, Customization of Package and Hotels booking. Except the last hotel in Wadduwa everything else was perfect. Our guide Miswar and the drivers were very polite. Miswar was always ready to help. If one thing I could tell Direct link to improve is to provide training to their guide on Local Culture and Location History. If that could be provided to the Guides they can keep the customer engaging during travels and help them to understand location and cultural importance. Ramboda falls hotel was amazing, never expected this. Also local shopping should be encouraged along with shopping in designated places which are authorized by Tourism Board. High Fashion is great for shopping in Colombo. Thank you once again Direct Link.

Very Good

The trip was awesome, only at one place in mirrissa paradise beach hotel, we requested the hotel for half an hour late check out, but we were not provided....rest all things were very professional and very good Whale watching was awesome and also tea estate in nuwara eliya

We were 8 person for Ramayana tours. Mrs Nurshida from direct link was co operative from day of booking and enquiry . Also deal was Ok from direct link . We had a very good experience on first day. Pickup was good.Hotels provided by team were also good except on second day (Oak Ray Ella Gap in Ella) The hotel provided on second day (Oak Ray Ella Gap in Ella) was just pathetic. We had elder ppl traveling in this tour and the hotel had no lift facility for 4th Floor. The 4 rooms provided were on different floor. There was also no Wifi on 4th floor. The hotel team were least bothered to help us justifying they are upgrading the services and rooms door was damaged as well.The breakfast requested to hotel was also not provided. Coming to cab and driver. The driver was just serious. His name was Anu. We had communication problem . We had booked Ramayana Tours. But this cab driver had no idea of any place. On this tour of 5 days., We hardly visited any temples and places. Most of time we were in long drive in cab and wasted time. More than 50 % places provided in itinerary were not covered by him. He was busy insisting us for shopping and his hotels for food. We were not in a mood to argue with him as he was not properly responding for places we wanted to go. Last day of tour he denied to drop us airport since we had late night flight. We later called direct link and issue was sorted. So my advice to direct link would be provide professional t driver with at least English speaking and understanding and all places to be covered as per itinerary.

Everything was perfectly arranged. The best thing about the tour was our driver Naseem. A wonderful human being and wonderful guide also.He took us wherever we wanted. Please ask for Naseem if you are travelling to Srilanka with direct link. Hotels were excellent. Only thing that we are not happy about is the car. We went for our honeymoon and excepted a smaller cosy cab instead of a 8seater. However, you can rely on directlink for your trip.

We had a very good trip in terms of the places we visited and the overall experience. I booked the hotels myself and so my deal with Direct Link was just around the transportation for local sightseeing. Things we loved: 1. The driver was a very nice man and extremely polite. Tried his level best to take us to good places. 2. The vehicle for the commute was very comfortable for the journey. 3. The places we were taken to were all very nice. We enjoyed Sri Lanka's beauty on the whole. Few areas where we were a little dissatisfied: 1. No doubt the driver was very good and polite, we had assumed him to be a guide as well. But he was just a driver. There was no one to show us around the places we visited. We were on our own. 2. On our way from Kandy to Bentota, the vehicle broke down due to a fault and we had to wait for more than 2 hours to get it repaired. With such a trip planned much in advance, we expect the vehicle to be pre-checked for any issues. 3. On our way from Bentota to Colombo, we had a small accident where our vehicle lightly collided into a bus from behind. We again had to wait for an hour for the insurance guys to arrive and do the needful. Although we tried to make the most of our trip, such incidents do lower your spirit.

It was a well organised trip and except the hotels at Trincomalee and Yala, the rest was really good and relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel at Trincomalee, just didn't care about food - it was served cold in the night and in the morning, too. The accommodation though was fine. The hotel at Yala, just did not care about the comfort. They gave me a room that looked like a jungle-lodge room. The had better rooms but they did not change. The room that I stayed in was definitely NOT three star. The driver was a sensible person and a good companion but not much of a guide. Most of my travelling was to Hindu and Buddhist shrines and the drive Furkhan is a Muslim. I don't blame him for not knowing much about my areas of interest. The agency can probably take care of that in future. Special thanks to Nurshida, from Direct Links, for being very nice and polite. She made an effort to keep in touch AFTER i landed in Sri Lanka and that really made me feel good. The itinerary, especially on day two, seemed a bit exhausting and impractical and therefore, I missed seeing the Tooth-temple at Kandy. I would have preferred to stay at Kandy one night and skip Yala, as animal safari is not my field of interest at all. I most enjoyed the Nuwara Eliya (because of its Ramayana links and Natural beauty) , the Madu-Ganga river ride (though very expensive !) and the drive from Yala to Colombo, by the sea-shore (beautiful !!). Colombo too could have been cut short and I could have spent that last night in Bentota and done some Scuba-diving. but then what will I do next time ?!! So, all in all, a very good experience. Loved the climate, the road-drive, the places and most of all the people, who are nice, polite and friendly. Look forward to being there again !! had a pleasant stay

Overall a good experience. The driver was friendly and helpful, though not much of a tour guide. The hotel at Kandy was not very good but the stay at Dambulla and Pollonawala was wonderful. The only lame part was the local tour of Colombo on the last day.

Overall a good experience. Would suggest to have a guide provided during the tour. In some destinations, tourists are highly over and unreasonably charged due to lack of guidance.
