Overall had a good experience. Few issues faced which kind of made the experience average at the end. 1) Had issue with check out from the second hotel where they informed me that payment was not made. I had to coordinate with the travels at 6 AM to get this resolved (luckily one of the representatives picked up the call. The main contact did not pick up the call). This was not a pleasant experience as we were trying to check out fast to make sure we are able to reach airport on time for our flight. 2) Cab driver was great in general but was really hesitant to switch on AC and even switched on, he was keeping it at very low speed which did not help at all.

Snowfall in Kasauli is highly unpredictable, however, it is most likely to take place during the months of December and January. These two winter months are most likely to receive ample snowfall, so you can plan your visit accordingly. 

There is no fuel station in Kasauli. The nearest one lies 12 kilometers away, so one must come to Kasauli with at least half a tank full of fuel.

Solan Fair is a famous festival which is considered as important to celebrate in Kasauli. During the Solan fair of Kasauli, local people along with the tourists, celebrate this festival which is devoted to ‘Soloni Devi’. This fair is also known as ‘Shalooni fair in Kasauli’ which is celebrated every year in the month of June.

If you are planning to travel to Kasauli from Delhi then you will be traveling Chandigarh. The road conditions from Delhi to Chandigarh are great and even beyond Chandigarh, the route is good to go. However, it is recommended that you check the news for road conditions during the monsoon season since landslides are a common sight during that time.
