By Air: Taking a flight from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai to Ngurah Rai International Airport, which is about 13 km away and is the nearest airport in Bali, can be one of the best ways to travel from Mumbai to Bali by air. Mumbai to Bali (Indonesia) flight distance is about 5580 km. Mumbai to Bali direct flight duration is about 8 hours and fares may be a little expensive in the peak season. However, one can save the money by making all the bookings in advance.

By Rail: Presently, there is no direct rail connectivity between Mumbai to Bali. It is impossible for anyone to reach Bali by train as it is an island, surrounded by deep waters on all side. Thus, one must opt for a flight to reach Bali from Mumbai.

 

By Road: Mumbai to Bali (Indonesia) distance by road is 9000 km but it is practically impossible and not recommended. One has to cover the central part of India to enter Myanmar. We were a group of 9 people travelling to Bali, Indonesia for 5 days. The hospitality we received when we went there was heartwarming. We faced some personal difficulties and throughout the entire process, the team was very helpful, especially the cab drivers. We understand travelling with a big group can be intimidating but from the hotel staff to especially the drivers, they were all very patient, kind. We stayed at Swiss Belhotel Tuban and Pondok Sebatu Villa. The pre-trip coordination also went smoothly without major hiccups. Cons: We did think that the plan could have been made in a way where either we stayed at the second villa a bit longer or we could have stayed at the original hotel because the trip to the villa at night and the long drive to the airport could have been avoided as well as the expenses of staying in the villa. We would have loved to learn about the Balinese culture more which is why we were asking the driver questions but it was a bit difficult to communicate so we could not learn about the culture, the different things that we saw on the road and we wanted to learn about to anyone. Probably a guide would have been quite helpful in this place since as a foreign tourist, you want to learn about the local customs as well, right? Overall it was quite a good trip and we will definitely cherish it for the rest of our lives.

My Mumbai to Bali experience was awesome. I had planned this outing with my family (Better Half and Two kids) I had planned my Tour from ‘Tour Hunters’ who were supremely helpful in all cases. Considering I was travelling along with kids, I was given all types of assistance on Indian Restaurants by all above people. I am really thankful to all contributors who made my tour memorable. I wish to give this group another opportunity for my next tour.

Whole tour was very nice. Driver was very helpful and nice to us and prompt as well. Nusa dua scuba diving experience was not good as the water was very dirty and cannot see anything there. But the snorkeling experience was very nice at nusa penida island.... Overall we had a wonderful honeymoon trip at Bali. Nusa Penida Island trip with snorkeling... Garuda Vishnu... Best stay at Rama beach and forest villa... Very nice Ulun danu temple views...

Everything was bang on as per itinerary. The experience can't be described in words. We had lot of fun and Bali itself is too beautiful with nice weather. The lunch served at Nusa Penida, romantic candle light dinner at Sun and Sand were too good. We enjoyed the ferry ride to Nusa peninda. The best part of trip was stay at Bhanusari Resort. We wished stay of one more day there. The trip must include minimum three days stay in private pool vila.
