    • Since Inner Line Permit (ILP) is required to visit the state, visitors will need to provide four other additional documents which includes tour itineraries and vehicle details, covid-19 certificate, tour booking slips, and details of the guide and driver.
    • Travelers should possess a valid COVID-19 negative certificate (RTPCR or True NAT test) from ICMR designated laboratory/facility, which they have undergone not more than 72 hours prior to the date of arrival, as per a government notification.
    • All tourists, accompanying drivers and guides from outside the state should adhere to COVID-19 inter-state traveller testing protocol issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Arunachal Pradesh.
    • As per the protocol, tourists should strictly observe adequate social distancing norms. Although family groups can stay together, they would have to ensure that they will remain 2 m away from other individuals or family groups.

    • International flights remain suspended. However, limited international flights are operating under the air travel bubble.
    • A Mandatory Covid Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) will be conducted upon arrivals followed by RT-PCR Test at all the Airports in Assam.
    • If the RAT result is negative, a swab sample would be taken for RT-PCR testing.
    • Travellers can then choose from the free RT-PCR Test Arranged by Govt where the result will normally be available within 3-5 days or one can go for a paid RT-PCR test which will be done by agencies at the designated testing centre of payment of the requisite fee of INR 2200.
    • The person will have to remain in isolation till the declaration of the test result.
    • Travellers from Maharashtra and Karnataka, arriving at any airport in the state must carry a negative RT-PCR report. The report should not be older than 72 hours.
    • Children below 10 years will not be tested if their parents are not willing to do so.
    • Passengers arriving in the state must undergo 7 days of home quarantine.
    • Lockdown-like restrictions have been imposed across the state.
    • Inter-district movement of vehicles is banned for a period of 15 days.
    • Only essential services are allowed to operate.
    • All travellers must fill a Health Declaration form prescribed by state upon arrival.
    • Travellers must download the Aarogya Setu app on their mobile devices.
    • Airlines are required to furnish the passenger manifest to the State government Health Authorities.

    • It is mandatory to book at least a 2 nights stay for the first 2 nights and declaration of the complete itinerary for the E-invite to be generated.
    • The services of registered tour operators listed on the Meghalaya tourism website and the Meghalaya tourism app can also be used for the generation of E-invite.
    • The E-invite with the QR code will have to be produced by the tourists on arrival.
    • It is mandatory for all travelers to carry a covid-19 negative RT/PCR, TruNat, CBNAAT report valid 72 hours before the scheduled travel.
    • The RAT negative test is not mandatory for travelers entering the state.
