Best Time to visit Uttarakhand

Albeit, Uttarakhand welcomes tourists all year round, the best time to explore its lush green environs is during the summer season. When the bustling cities of India experience scorching heat, the snow-capped mountains of Uttarakhand can be the best place to find some relief. But, people who cherish chilly atmosphere and want to experience snowfall, the picturesque surroundings during the winter season are the best to wander around. However, it is advised to avoid visiting here during the monsoon season, as heavy rainfall often leads to landslides, roadblocks, and cause delays in transport. Now, let’s take a look at the below information in regards to what can be the best time to explore the mesmerizing surroundings of Uttarakhand.

Summer Season (March - June)

Bidding adieu to the chilly winters, the duration of March to June is meant to beckon you for an escape in the midst of snow-clad mountains with the onset of spring season. If you are an adventure-junkie, you can explore the astonishing wildlife and partake in water activities, such as river rafting, biking, and more.

Monsoon Season (July - September)

With the temperature hovering in between 15 degree celsius and 25 degree celsius, the months of July to September bring heavy rainfalls in Uttarakhand. As the chances of landslides, transport delays, and roadblocks may affect the journey, it is advised not to visit here during the monsoon season. However, if you are a nature lover, and the view of lush greenery and blossoming flowers is what you take the utmost delight in, then it can be a good time to immerse yourself amidst natural surroundings.

Winter Season (October - February)

From the month of October to the month of February, Uttarakhand experiences the winter season. As the mercury goes as low as zero degree celsius, the weather is quite chilly. However, if you love to explore the fascinating beauty of the mountains decked with snowfall, then let not the descending temperature become a deterrent to your next excursion to Uttarakhand.

Hotel rating :7 Cab rating:6 Agent support:7 Overall score :7 I faced multiple cab issues right from the beginning.. driver provided to me was aged & not in good health condition. I gave him medicines & treatment.. He was not feeling well till our 3rd day of our tour..I drove car for more than hour to Ranikhet as he made such mistakes that we loose confidence in his driving..otherwise driver was cooperative friendly..we reachd 2 hrs late at Ranikhet due to wrong road selected... After complaining they told me that they will change the driver but they didn't..hotels were selected by us in options given to us..Himalayan Voyage at Ranikhet was good in terms of food & location..Corbet wild iris resort & Seasons by experience at Nainital was good in terms of location but food was average.. In Overall our journey we thought that we were not able to cover maximum sightseeing spots as we were provided with wrong iternary..We lost maximum of our time in travelling only..like corbett museum & falls was in between our journey to Ranikhet...also Bhimtal was in between Journey from Ranikhet to Nainital..so we could have covered them in between..

Ashish's 3 days trip to Uttarakhand

Overall, our trip was very enjoyable. The stay at Hotel The Urmi in Haridwar was outstanding, with comfortable rooms, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. In contrast, the hotel in Mussoorie didn’t match the same high standard—though the balcony offered a beautiful scenic view, the rest of the experience felt lacking compared to Haridwar. Our driver was courteous and professional, and the support we received from Travel Trail Holidays was prompt and reliable. Additionally, Travel Triangle provided consistent and valuable assistance throughout the journey.

Dheerendravijay's 5 days trip to Uttarakhand

The packages offered are better than the other websites and apps and a user have multiple quotations to choose the right and even customise. Overall, this was my second trip and i am quite happy from them. Few suggestions: Improve your app as its lags too much and often logouts while switching tabs within and as a user for now we have to switch to mobile website instead of app which works fine. The plan shared should have better explanations and also the sales team needs to be more trained. For example: i took a trip to mountains and a national park. They mentioned the cab is without AC which i assumed AC will not be required. But it is as you can only feel the air for some time but when there is dust on road you should have options to close the window. I should have taken a better option in it but the point is when i am booking all 5 star hotels why cant i pay 10k more for a better cab which was never suggsted and as a travel aggrigator or agency you should be able to suggest the customer for it.
