About Himachal

With stunning snowy peaks and lush valleys, Himachal Pradesh is among country’s most popular destinations for a relaxing getaway. At the same time, it is an adventure playground where you can dabble in thrilling sports like heli-skiing, paragliding, rafting, trekking, rock climbing, zorbing and camping. It boasts of being home to maximum hill stations in the country, many of which are still untouched by commercialization or pollution. Most popular tourist destinations in Himachal include Shimla – the capital city with a rich British heritage and captivating landscapes; Manali – the honeymooner’s paradise; and McLeod Ganj – second home to His Holiness The Dalai Lama.
The diversity of the state can be seen in its people, culture as well as its topography. Starting from the Hidimba Devi worshippers of Kullu to the centuries’ old Buddhist cultures amid the rocky terrains of Lahaul and Spiti, Himachal has many such surprises in store for you.
