Pooja Nikram was surprised when her husband got a Singapore Honeymoon package booked for the couple through TravelTriangle for 4 Nights/5 Days. The first vacation for this couple outside India was covered for INR 99000 and it included their flight, accommodation, breakfast, tickets, and transfers.

My husband and I were deciding on a honeymoon destination since a long time and were keen to go to Andaman. But, since we were taking a flight to a destination that was quite far away, my husband booked a honeymoon trip to Singapore with Travel Triangle as it was a closer and much more exciting destination.

The whole process of booking the package from TravelTriangle was a hassle free one. We were connected to various travel agents onboard the website and could choose the best from the various quotes they offered. In the end, we did choose a great quote which offered us a perfect mix of budget and customization.

Day 1: Landing in Singapore and Night Safari

Finally, the day came and we boarded our flight to Singapore from Hyderabad. Since we had booked a flight with Air Asia, it took us to Singapore via Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

After landing in Singapore, we were welcomed by a representative from the hotel and drove to the hotel. This was a nice hotel and after freshening up and relaxing for a while, we were to proceed for our 1st adventure – the night safari!

And so around 5.30 in the evening, we boarded the cab that was waiting to pick us up and went for the safari!

I found the night safari to be a dazzling affair. The experience was very original and captivating. Seeing the wildlife active at night time was a very rare experience as such things could only be seen in wildlife shows on Nat Geo or Discovery.

Post the safari, we were shown a brilliant Tribal Fire Show in the complex. The dancers dressed in traditional costumes showed off their brilliant fire-handling skills that left the crowd and us truly amazed.

Day 3: Next stop, Fantasy-land!

Universal Studios brings silver screen to life

This was the day we were eagerly waiting for. After having breakfast in our hotel, we were off to the Universal Studios on the Sentosa Island to indulge in a movie themed adventure and fantasy.

I am glad to say, this turned out to be the best day of our Honeymoon.

Universal Studios offers a thrilling experience for all the movie buffs and lovers of sci-fi. There are amazing movie themed rides and attractions all over the park and the best one out of those is the Transformers ride. I personally loved it and did it many times.

Later in the park, a funny incident happened to us when a stranger dressed in a costume approached me and held my hand. He would not let it go even after my husband tried to reason with him.

This was a prank being done on us by a local comedy TV show and we did not realize everything was being recorded. Finally, when the TV crew intervened and told us about the prank, we could not help but laugh!
It was nice to see the lighter side of people here and the guys shooting the video were very warm and welcoming after their act was over.

Continuing our exploration on Sentosa Island on the second last day in Singapore, we went to the Underwater World, which was another very popular attraction for tourists visiting Singapore.

It was amazing to see the fishes and dolphins up close in person. This was a fun, innovative, and leisurely way of experiencing the world that lives underwater without getting into too much trouble.

The amazing Underwater world in Sentosa

After the Underwater World, we decided to take a walk on the Sandy beaches made there where people can also indulge into a variety of water-sports activities if they wish to.

During the night, there was once again a brilliant firework show that lasted for 15 minutes. The accurate and entertaining display pyrotechnics left us dreamy eyed and smiling!

Day 5: Time to Bid Goodbye to wonderful Singapore

Pooja and her husband in China Town

After 4 very enjoyable days in Singapore, it was finally time for us to say goodbye and leave this beautiful country with special memories. We were totally rejuvenated and before heading to the airport, we took one last walk in the Marina Bay. It was a refreshing experience post which we were transferred to the airport.
Singapore turned out to be a fun-filled and dazzling experience for us. It turned out to be the perfect destination for our first visit abroad and also, of course, our honeymoon!

The amazing Wings of time in Sentosa

All the good times and memories that were a part of this trip will forever remain with us. In the end, it would not come as a surprise that we would love to visit and experience this wonderful, friendly, and extremely hospitable country again.
