Thailand Tour Packages

Planning a Trip to Thailand

Planning a Thailand trip from India in 2026? This is where a Bangkok-Pattaya first-timer, a Phuket-Krabi honeymooner and a Koh Samui island-hopper all start. Every package below is customizable, priced in INR, and built for Indian travellers, from the visa to the veg-food stops. Land-only trips start at Rs 9,000, and most travellers fly out for a week across two or three islands.

Thailand works for almost every kind of trip, which is exactly why it is easy to over-plan. The quick read below is what most Indian travellers actually need before they pick a package: how long to go, when to go, what the visa looks like now, and what the money works out to. The deeper how-and-where sits on our dedicated guides, linked through this page, so you are not scrolling a wall of text to get to the packages.

Choose Your Thailand Package

Pick by budget, by how many nights you have, or by who you are travelling with. Every itinerary is customizable, and hotel stays, airport transfers and sightseeing are included. Booking from a specific city? We run dedicated fare pages too, such as thailand tour packages from Delhi, and similar pages for Pune, Mumbai and other metros.

Money and Currency in Thailand

Thailand runs on the Thai Baht (THB); as of mid-2026, 1 THB is about Rs 2.86, so THB 1,000 is roughly Rs 2,860. A few things worth knowing before you fly:

Carry some cash. Street food, markets, tuk-tuks and island ferries are cash-first. Cards work at malls, hotels and larger restaurants.

Where to exchange. Rates at Thai city exchange counters (look for SuperRich-style booths) are usually better than the airport or your bank back home. Change a small amount at the airport, the rest in the city.

ATM charges. ATMs charge a fixed THB 220 per withdrawal, so take out larger amounts less often rather than small sums repeatedly.

Daily spend. Rough daily spend for a mid-range traveller runs about THB 2,000 to 3,000 (Rs 5,700 to Rs 8,600) for food, local transport and entry tickets, on top of your package. (Indicative, not a quote.)

Shopping in Thailand

Thailand is one of Asia's best-value shopping stops, and it is built into most itineraries. Bangkok alone covers the range: Chatuchak weekend market for everything under the sun, Pratunam for wholesale clothes, MBK and Terminal 21 for gadgets and knock-arounds, and the night markets for souvenirs. Good buys are clothes, leather, dried fruit and snacks, and cheap electronics; always bargain at markets (start around half). For the full market-by-market breakdown, see our Bangkok shopping guide and the Pratunam guide.

Indian and Vegetarian Food in Thailand

Indian and vegetarian food is easy across the tourist belt and every major city, and harder on remote islands, so it is worth planning. Bangkok's Sukhumvit and Pahurat (Little India) have full-service Indian restaurants; Pattaya, Phuket and Krabi all have reliable Indian and Jain options where a thali runs roughly Rs 400 to 700. Our itineraries flag the dependable spots, and the city guides list them by area: Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Krabi.

Best Time To Visit Thailand

November to March is the cool, dry peak, and the best window for islands and honeymoons, so book early. March to May is hot but cheaper and good for city and shopping trips. June to October is monsoon, with the lowest prices and short, heavy showers. One planning rule that saves a wet holiday: in the mid-year monsoon (roughly May to September), base yourself on the Gulf coast (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan), which stays drier then, rather than the Andaman coast (Phuket, Krabi), which is at its wettest. Full month-by-month guide on the best time to visit Thailand page.

What Most First-Time Indian Travellers Get Wrong About Thailand

A few things our travel experts hear on almost every first Thailand trip, worth knowing before you book:

They cram too many islands. Two islands in a week is relaxed; three means you spend the trip in transfers. Most repeat travellers wish they had done less.

They underrate the ferry and internal-transfer time. Phuket to Phi Phi, or Krabi to Koh Lanta, eats half a day. Packages that pre-book these save the scramble at the pier.

They over-plan Bangkok and under-plan the islands. Two nights in Bangkok is usually enough for the Grand Palace, a market and a rooftop; give the extra nights to the beaches.

This is the kind of detail a customizable, agent-built package gets right and a fixed group tour does not.

Where To Go On A Thailand Tour

Bangkok for temples, markets and nightlife; Pattaya for easy beaches and Coral Island; Phuket for big-island beach life and Phi Phi day trips; Krabi and Railay for limestone cliffs and quieter sand; Koh Samui and Koh Phangan for Gulf-coast calm; Chiang Mai for the cooler, cultural north. Most Indian itineraries pair Bangkok with one or two islands. Full picks with photos and maps: places to visit in Thailand and things to do in Thailand.

How To Reach Thailand From India

Direct flights run from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and other metros to Bangkok (BKK/DMK), with onward domestic hops to Phuket, Krabi and Samui. Flight time is roughly 4 to 4.5 hours from north and west India. Most packages fly you into Bangkok and out of an island (or the reverse) so you never backtrack. My agent Kajal really helped me with every details. She made this trip very comfortable for me. No significant issues I faced during my travel. The only request is to inform the travellers about SIC. They keep calling 1 hr before the expected time and are very rigid. Otherwise I had a great trip. Bangkok cruise

Sanjana's 7 days trip to Thailand

Our trip to Bangkok, Chiang Rai, and Pattaya was fantastic and exceptionally well-organized. Everything from the hotel transfers to the city tours happened exactly as planned. A special shout-out to our driver for the Chiang Rai portion—he was professional, always on time, and made the long journey very comfortable. The sights, especially the temples in Chiang Rai, were highlights for us. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a stress-free Thailand experience!

Piyush's 5 days trip to Thailand

The itinerary was scheduled in a very hectic manner, as if the focus was only on achieving targets rather than ensuring a comfortable travel experience. Insufficient time was allotted at most locations, which did not allow travellers to properly enjoy or explore the places. The food arrangements, especially for Indian cuisine, were not managed satisfactorily.

Garg's 4 days trip to Thailand

Thailand was an absolute dream! We had an incredible time exploring Poda Island, Maya Bay, and the Phi Phi Islands. The adventure activities like river rafting and the ATV rides were highlights of our trip, and we’re leaving with amazing memories and photos. However, our experience at Naina Spa and Resort was the complete opposite. The staff behavior was unprofessional and rude, and the service was overall pathetic. It was a major dampener on an otherwise perfect vacation. While Phuket is stunning, this resort made our stay quite miserable. I would recommend enjoying the sights of Phuket but staying elsewhere. We have some best memories from Phi Phi Island, Poda Island and Two Bay beach. I would like to visit Thailand beach and beauty again.

Renjikthomas's 5 days trip to Thailand

We recently returned from a wonderful family trip to Bangkok and Pattaya, flawlessly organized by Trave Terra at TravelTriangle From the start, the booking process was incredibly efficient, taking the stress out of the planning phase. What truly set this apart was the support from Vikas during the trip; when we encountered a minor concern with our hotel, the Vikas stepped in immediately. Having an agent advocate for us on the ground was a massive advantage and resolved the issue instantly. Even any concerns he answered promptly giving us satisfactory resolutions. All arrangements and logistics were handled with precision, and the communication throughout was consistently transparent and proactive. Thank you for being a reliable, professional travel partner for our holiday

Tiwari's 8 days trip to Thailand

Everything was well arranged and managed. Team on one trip was great and responsive. The karabi cha da hotel was not a satisfactory choice. Bathroom shower was defective and was not attended despite requests . Alternate arrangements could have been made. There were slight coordination issues between teams working but resolved after discussion. Overall a very good travel experience. Thanks to Kush ji and his team.

Package fares shown here are verified against our live booking feed before publishing, and the visa, currency and best-time details were fact-checked against official sources. On the ground, our Thailand partners plan the transfers and ferries so the timings hold up in practice:

"Most first-timers miss that the last Phuket to Phi Phi ferries leave by late afternoon, so we build island day trips around the morning boats. It is the difference between a relaxed day and a rushed one."
