ent amiss. There were a couple of minor slips but that's pardonable in the overall experience we had. Overall a smooth experience. The Ri Kynjai hotel in Shillong is one of the best I have stayed in. Their hospitality is world class and they go out of their way to serve you. Our experience in the Elgin Nor-Khill in Gangtok was not as pleasant as in the Ri Kynjai. While the hotel property is well maintained with a royal setting, the hospitality is not that great. The house keeping staff was not very diligent in its duties, often missing out on essentials while replacing the previous ones. We were even denied the complementary water bottles on the check out day; we found that rude. The breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious and sumptuous. Our best memories were from the Ri Kynjai in Shillong. The property is beautiful beyond words. Their hospitality made us feel at home.

what happened

d restaurants for food, we tried all kind of food and overall, it was an awesome experience. The hotel (SJ International) in Guwahati was quite small, the extra bed taken all the space, other category of rooms was not available, even food was not good. The hotel in Shillong (Tree Top) was quite spacious but complimentary breakfast was average. Stay and food at Cherrapunji was good.

e us. For many of our questions he was like 'malum nahi'. We had no idea that trek to phe phe falls can take 2 hours for one side and where the falls are exactly, there was no one on the way with us and we with our 4 year kid was walking and walking without any idea that where the falls are. Overall, it was not a bad trip and it can be improved.

ch was briefed after all booking is done. Also all accommodations mentioned as 3 start but that were below the average and had multiple cons. Also activities were booked but at the end operator said there are no sufficient resources available and made some jugad after pressurising them.

that need improvement. Despite specifically requesting balcony rooms at each of the three hotels booked, none of them fulfilled this request. Additionally, I made it clear that I didn't want any museum or park visits included in the itinerary, yet they were still added. On the final day, there was a lack of planned activities, and we ended up simply being driven to the airport with no other sights to see, except for a lake we had already visited on the first day. Furthermore, I requested to have only one driver for the entire four-day trip, but there was a change in the middle, causing some inconvenience. Despite these issues, we managed to enjoy the trip, but these aspects definitely detracted from the overall experience. Thank you
