. Hotels were booked very near to the happening places both in Pattaya as well as in Bangkok. Cons: Bangkok hotel was not good. We had to shift rooms because we found bed bugs. The travel agent could have explained the arrival procedure that is Visa on arrival and immigration procedures, we wasted 2 hours at the airport because of the confusion, since we were 1st time travellers. A pre-travel instruction session would have been very good. We had to figure out most of the things on our own through the trip. Tips: 1. Go to Visa on arrival counter directly. If you are in a group of 5 or more go to the group Visa counter. No need to stand in immigration queue, after getting Visa directly exit to claim baggage. 2. Make sure you always, I mean ALWAYS have your filled immigration form and passport safe with you as you need it until the very end of the trip. 3. If you are a vegetarian, visit 7eleven mart and grab some buns because you wont get any vegetarian food at the airport. It is very tough to find veg food. So make sure you eat all your meals well. 4. ALWAYS CARRY WATER. 5. All shops and malls closed at 8pm in Bangkok. But worry not they have amazing night markets.
