However the driver Mr.Arun(not so fluent in English or Hindi) was a headache from day1 & used to continuously pester for sightseeing apart from the mentioned itinerary(we were almost going crazy). Worst was when he came to know that we(both girls traveling) had complained about his behaviour with Guruji Travels,he used to show his anger by driving fast and rashly on the ghats. As we travelled in the last week of March,the driver was adamant of NOT showing sightseeing to us especially the waterfalls saying that it was dried up or sightseeing being closed or not worth. When I spoke to Mr.Pankaj Singh(travel triangle manager of Kerala tours), he expected us to keep a copy of the itinerary(print out)to provide it to the driver as the driver didn’t have the details of the places to be covered from the itinerary. If that was not enough,the driver decided to leave us in between and change with another driver without ours and as well as Gurujis prior intimation(Mr.Pankaj was again pacifying with the driver-that he may had problems hence left us).Since the start of our trip, we were on call with Guruji Travels(with day to day complains). However, I was glad that after the driver left, Miss Karuna made sure that he doesn’t return with the rest part of tour. Hotel experiences are nice with good food and ambience. 1. Misty Lake Resorts had hot water issue for 2days continuously & the reception didn’t provide 2buckets of hot water on time despite informing them. Laid back attitude. 2. White Rose Houseboat chef & driver asked for tips despite knowing that customers cost includes their charges. However we didn’t pay. 3. Unwind hotels have insects issue despite housekeeping. The overall experience was good and thanks to Miss Karuna of Guruji Travels to always attend and listen to our problems. However, there were few miscommunications from the operations team. P.S.: Mr. Pankaj of TravelTriangle had not paid attention to our problems and the reaction given by him was unexpected during the tour. In between these issues, he expected us to understand the driver & his problems, who was eating our brains instead, for 4 out of 7days. Best place to visit here (with temperatures keeping in mind-as it gets real hot especially by 10.30am in March) with family & friends. Breathtaking views of the dams and waterfalls. Jeep Safari(max 4 people allowed & they take entire jeep cost) is done by local guides which include various points and take the off road to show much better waterfalls. It’s worth visiting IF ONLY TIME IS LEFT. By 5pm everything closes, hence don’t do extra sightseeing unless half the day is left to do nothing. Recommendations: Bargain everywhere possible except where printed tickets given.

es related to cab driver timings and availability. That was a bad experience though. The person who have given the quotation should be available till the tour plan gets over. In our case another person came into existence who doesn’t respond like the before person who has promised for a good tour plan.
