agent there was supposed to send a car to Grand Palace at 1 PM on 16th to take us to Wat Pho and Wat Arun. At 12 PM I contacted the agent to tell him we are ready and he can send the vehicle at any time.I made this call because the Pattaya agent had told me to let them know half an hour before itself. The agent had not made proper arrangement which was evident by the fact that he asked us to take a local transport to Wat Pho which he will reimburse and begin our tour and their car will come there by 1 PM. This caused us to run around for a transportation and in the process I hurt my knee badly and it got dislocated and I could not stand up. We called the agent to tell him our plight and he appeared confused to find a solution or at least see to it that the car comes in time to us. As a result I had to make my own contacts to get medical attention. The car reached us only at 2.45 PM a good 1 hour and 45 minutes late which was worse as I was in pain. Not sensing any helping attitude from the agents, I made my own arrangements and the agents did not even bother to come to see me or enquire if I finally managed to get attention. I needed a wheel chair assistance at the airport at additional cost all of which I had to do myself without any help from the agents. No human concern or humanitarian approach to clients who are in a strange country!!! Further, they also did not offer to refund the cost of the trip portion that could not be done which otherwise could have happened if the car was promptly sent to Grand Palace as per the plan and the accident could have been avoided. This trip was important to me as it was meant to be a memorable first international trip for my parents. There was also issues regarding the temple visits as the itinerary did not clearly spell out the temples that we will be taken. I came to know that the itinerary did not include the most critical and important Wat Pho - reclining buddha temple and Wat Arun whereas they had included the lesser known temples just because they were free entry temples. The itinerary should clearly write the names of temples so that travellers r not taken by surprise. A word of appreciation for handling the Pattaya portion well which was the only memorable portion of our trip.
