Travel agent was very helpful especially in providing information correctly. Travel agent collected extra amount for the last day because he said itenary says to drop us after checkout from hotel. But I didn't see any where it's mentioned.he shouldn't have asked for it extra. He promised that he will suggest places to shop and I form driver about the same but nothing happened..we have to search online and visit. Places

Nusa Penida tour

Since my wife is in her final trimester we requested the the travel agent to cut-short our trip skipping sigriya , dambulla and bentotta and keeping 2 days at one destination so that we don’t have to hop from one hotel to another every single day. We covered colombo, kandy, nurwa elliya and ella in 8 days. But the room provided to us were not what we paid for. Both in kandy and nurwa eliyya on first day there was no view/ balcony and we were forced to adjust on day one and were provided the promised room on day 2. UpOn confirming with the hotel reception we were told that the travel agent was told about the unavailability of the room on the provided dates. He played smart, keeping us in dark and had the audacity to threaten us to cancel the trip in nurwa eliya upon complaining when it happened for the second time in nurwa eliyya. So technically we cut short 3 destinations, paid more than the initial quotation and switched rooms every single day for 8 days pretty much adding to the discomfort. Secondly, considering my wife’s pregnancy in mind we preponed the trip by one day without any change in the itinerary thereby adding extra day in colombo to rest and readily paid extra for one day accommodation plus airport transport( that was covered in trip). Travel agent said his service is from airport to airport so if we are coming one day before we’ve to pay extra for airport to colombo transfer. We paid without arguing but we strongly feel this could have been avoided. Thirdly, travel agent always increased the price by 10-15 usd saying the economic conditions in srilanka isn’t good which is clearly unprofessional. Moreover he provided the wrong booking name in all four hotels adding to the confusion.

- Hotels were good, no real complaints on that front Things that could have been better - - While communicating needs of trip, I think some miscommunication happened and I believe fitting "dan ang and bana hills" in the trip could have been great (maybe even if it meant removing ho chi minh). Talking to other travellers there, I realised those were the more touristy place - I had mentioned that it's our honeymoon trip and first international trip as couple. Any small gesture with regards to that (like maybe decoration or dining) would have been great. Of course, I didn't push on arranging anything so I don't mind as such. Halong bay trip was mentioned as "romantic and intimate dinner" but it was just a simple dining hall setting with all travellers sitting together. - Some tour buses were a bit uncomfortable / crowded, I have left feedbacks for them accordingly - A bit more proactive communication from TripNexa's side regarding weather, currency exchange, popular dishes there etc, would have been good. Anyway, I had pinged Shruti or you in cases where I needed inputs.

We had to use our own judgment and with the help of driver amend the plans as required. The agency vouchers were issued that were different to that issued by Travel Triangle. When questioned why there is no mention of Doodhpatri, it was just plugged in for the last day when we were to return from Pahalgam to Srinagar. The driver advised it would not be possible to do justice as we have to do Shikara ride also and left off Shalimar Garden. We amended and went to Doodhpathri on the day we cancelled Gulmarg plans due to no Gondola tickets. . Overall we feel shortchanged as we could not go to Gulmarg while we paid for that part of the trip. The driver saved us from lack of proper planning and advice from the agency.
