      Excellent trip but it would have been more delightful if we had got to see more of island(beaches).South tour wasn’t so exciting tour though tour guide was excellent ,spending 10k just for tht earthy colours by jeep (wastage of money ,pls guide tourist on it) Speedboat ride ,drenching completely wonderful coral beaches and ofcourse glass bottom boat .....not to miss le meridian super property wonderful hospitality

      Mauritius Not well organised. Everyday 3-4 hours were wasted only in travelling here and there. Local agent fixed their commission with local shops and misguided to shops over there only. Watersports activities are much better in GOA and expannsive as well if booked via local travel agent. Better to book your own. I was charged for photos for activities but I got blank DVD with no Photos.

      I must say it was a great trip to Mauritius with all it's natural beauty and mesmerizing sea beach. Enjoyed the activities, water sports etc (though those are pretty costly). 1. Tour Operator & Hotel - Provided flight and hotel booking well within time. But initially they sent quotation for LAGOONA BEACH RESORT hotel (situated in Eastern coast of Mauritius). Later they changed the hotel and booked HOTEL MANISA (situated in West Coast). Location at West coast is also good. But Manisa hotel is not up to the mark in term of cleanliness and overall service. Provided very limited options of food in breakfast and dinner. Both were included in our package. Lagoona Beach hotel was providing one complementary lunch for us (as honeymoon couple), but Manisa didn't provide that. 2. Drivers/Local tour Operators at Mauritius - They were pretty good with punctuality & services. Helpful and well behaved. Overall experience is good. But it could have been better.

      Hotel was amazing; however the guides were not that courteous and the operators with whom they had tie up for water activities were really unprofessional. I paid for the photographs of the water activities which were given to me in a CD and when I checked the CD after returning home , it was BLANK. This is highly unprofessional.

      The entire tour was very well organised and most important thing was punctuality which I liked the most. The guides on all the days helped and guided in what to shop, where to shop, what to enjoy etc. The hospitality they gave us was really appreciable. Everyone's time was appreciated by the guide. In my group all the couples and a family were also punctual so we enjoyed a lot. There were no delays anywhere and ample time was given to us to enjoy as well.

      Airport to Hotel transfer was timely and guided well by agents who received us at airport. Upon reaching resort, initial experience was horrible. AC was not working in our booked room and making too much noise. Also, telephone was not working. Upon repeated complaints, they fixed the telephone but AC was still making noise. Travel agent who booked our vacation said he can't help as office is closed in India. Upon repeated complaints at reception they offered room upgrade at 10.30 pm in the night. Earlier they were asking 3000rs per night for this upgrade. This new room was thankfully beautiful but not lit properly. It remains dark most of the time and the only source was table lamp and bedside reading lights. Tour visits were timely with hardly 10 to 15 mins delay in arrival. Indian food is not available in resort at any time. Guides were more focussed in selling activities nd fetching money rather than guiding about place. They start reading rate card as soon as you sit inside the bus. Evening entertainment at resort was superb. They try every bit to make it entertaining nd to involve everyone. Water is super expensive. You only get one bottle upon arrival. You get 6 bottles at the price of one bottle at supermarket. Staff at resort was helpful and available everytime for any assistance. Best memory was date night planned by resort staff at the beach. For this, they prepared indian food and offered drinks on the house. They also served on the table and decorated room as a surprise while you are finishing your meal.
