Wake up and feast on a scrumptious breakfast. On the second day of your Cambodia tour package, you will be transferred to Phnom Penh. The day will start with a visit to the historical Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda. Built in 1886 by the king Norodom, the Royal Palace contains the Silver Pagoda with its floor made up of 5000 silver tiles, a magnificent gold Buddha weighing around 90 kilograms as well as a 17th century Emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. The next stop will be the National Museum designed by a French archaeologist in Khmer style. A tour of the museum will help you get know a lot more about Khmer art. Afterwards, you will visit the Tuol Sleng Museum, a former school converted to the S-21 prison by Pol Pot’s security force. Around 17000 people who were held at S-21 were killed at the extermination camp of Choeung Ek, your next destination. The ‘Killing fields’ of Choeung Ek serve as testimony to Cambodia’s intriguing history.

After the little historical tour, you will get to spend the rest of the day at Psar Toul Tom Pong, known as the Russian market in Phnom Penh. Make the most of your shopping experience here and do not forget to look at some of the cool souvenirs, exquisite silks and curios.

Wake up early to a wholesome breakfast, followed by a transfer to the bus station for your departure to Siem Reap. Once you reach Siem Reap, get transferred to your hotel for check in.

The third day of your Cambodia tour itinerary takes you sightseeing around the town. Begin by visiting the floating village of Chong Khneas in the afternoon, just 10 kms from the town. Enjoy the beautiful sunset from a traditional wooden boat on the ‘Great Lake’ of Cambodia, Tonle Sap Lake. The last destination for the day will be "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" where you get to marvel at the way young Cambodians are taught the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting.
