Gujarat, home to varied terrain and a plethora of sacred sites is worth a visit. This Indian state is quite popular not just for these elements, but also for its rich history, culture, and heritage. The food, clothes, artwork, handicraft, and the people here are worth the mention for they add to the identity and character of the state. Bhuj and Rann of Kutch are two of the primary sightseeing spots here. Because of these areas being far-fetched and located in the westernmost part of the state in one corner of India, many don’t take out the time to explore these places. However, there is so much to see and do at both these locations. While Bhuj is known for its vibrancy and narrow streets brimming with Gujarati culture and traditions, the latter is known for the picturesque beauty of its white desert. The schedule of Little Rann of Kutch from Ahmedabad package starts at Bhuj as you arrive at the airport or railway station. Once you arrive, a representative shall meet you and help you get a transfer to the hotel that you would be staying at. Arrive at the hotel and get done with the check-in formalities. Rest in your room as you get settled in. Get ready for some sightseeing today and proceed to Aina Mahal. This palace of mirrors dates back to the 18th century. It was built by the ruler of the princely state of Kutch, Rao Lakhpatji. After this, head to Prag Mahal located right next to Aina Mahal. After this, visit places like Swaminarayan Temple and Hamisar Lake.

The second day of Little Rann of Kutch from Ahmedabad package continues with the sightseeing in Bhuj. Visit Mata No Madh, Narayan Sarovar, Koteswar Mahadev Temple, Kutch Museum, and Mandvi Beach. Mata No Madh is a village located in the Kutch district located about 105 kilometers from Bhuj. The village has a temple dedicated to the local deity of Ashapura Mata. The goddess is said to be the deity of the Jadeja clan that ruled the Kutch state. Narayan Sarovar is a religious place of worship for the Hindus. There is a temple here called Koteshwar Mahadev Temple. The Kutch Museum is the oldest museum in Gujarat dating back to the year 1877. Lastly, head to the port city of Mandavi located about 60 kilometers from Bhuj. Mandvi Beach here is a great place to watch the sunset and have a great time with friends and family.

On the third day of the trip, head to Dhordo, the tent city of Gujarat located near the white desert of Rann of Kutch. The place is located approximately 80 kilometers from Bhuj. The journey would take around 1-1.5 hours. Check-in at the camp upon arrival. Get settled in, have lunch, and proceed for some sightseeing. You would be taken to Kala Dungar, the highest point in the Kutch district. Get to see the panoramic view of the Great Rann of Kutch from this spot. Since the place is located close to the Indo-Pak border, the security here is tight. After the sightseeing shenanigans, head back to the camp for a lush dinner meal. Chandana's 5 days trip to Gujarat

Trip was very nice. Except we were expecting the cab driver to know the routes and to act as a guide as well. But unfortunately he did not know the routes and we ourself had to use Google maps to navigate. It became extremely inconvenient in no network zones where on one occassion we were wandering on the road for 2 hrs not knowing where to go.
