Turkey: The historical paradise 8 Days & 7 Nights

We booked our Turkey trip through Travel Triangle and through Travel Lykke. The trip went as planned. However, we felt that we could have been offered more than the standardized tour packages available in Turkey as we had taken a customized tour package. E.g. The Green Tour in Cappadocia covering entire day has hardly any sights, activities covered. The Selime Monastry is a regular cave like structure which is 1,5 hrs one way and totally not worth the time. Due to which we couldn't cover some of the nearest attractions like Uchisar Castle or activities like ATV ride which are way more engaging than the monastry. Even in Istanbul, the day tour covered only Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace and post lunch we were taken to Grand Bazaar where we were on our own. Galata Tower, Basillica Cistern like attractions were not included in the tour and had to be done on our own. The Antalya tour also had 5 hrs sitting in the bus out of 10 hrs of day travel and covered only the waterfalls and Mediterrnean sea boat ride. The old town was only a locality with no attractions worth the time. We wanted to cover paragliding in Fethiye, however, the transport offered by Travel agent was very expensive. We had to fund our own transfer and paragliding in Alanya instead of doing it in Fethiye.

Hi Travel Lykke team, Our trip to Turkey was one to remember. We had lots of fun and awesome memories to take back. Thanks for making all the arrangements for us. Here’s a detailed feedback of the trip so that you can improve upon a few things in an otherwise great itinerary. ANTALYA: Prime Hotel was a very good one with perfect location along seaside. Rooms were good with a great restaurant giving full panoramic view of the seaside. It also had a good swimming pool. Pamukkalle tour- had a great experience of mesmerising limestone landscapes with very good photo opportunities. Guide was good. Antalya city tour- overall very good tour . But somewhat cut short as we were tagged along big Indian family who were travelling with small kids. They did not cover the full tour as the family wanted to go to hotel and the guide also didn’t take our consent because we wanted to see old town also mentioned in our itinerary. But we were dropped back to the hotel along with the family. Guide was very good otherwise. CAPPADOCIA: ATV tour- our pick up was 1 hour late. We missed 1 valley as the tour had already started when we reached. But otherwise tour was very good. We were taken to other 3 valleys with breathtaking views of caves . Time was around 1 1/2 hours. It was an adventurous experience riding the ATV. Hot air ballooning- This was the highlight of our tour and we were lucky that the flight was not cancelled on our day. Really once in a lifetime experience to remember to enjoy. Totally recommended. The ballooning company was good. Green tour: Again we were tagged along the big Indian family for whom we had to wait one hour outside their hotel to start the tour as they were not ready. Wasted a lot of time. Otherwise the tour was very good with good guide. Azure cave hotel- very good hotel with good location ISTANBUL: Bosphorus dinner cruise- Very good with good entertaining local folk dances. Two continent tour- The places we went were good but the arrangement of transport and guide was not at all good. There were 2-3 tours going on along with our tour in the same bus. We had to change bus 2-3 times and had to wait for people from other tours as well as the bus arranged for everyone was same!! This was not what we expected which ruined our tour. Boat ride was not good as it was routine govt. operated boat which stopped at 2-3 stations. It was a very average experience. Nippon hotel- very small rooms being a 4 star hotel. Location was good but staff in restaurant were trainees with no experience in serving. All the airport transfers were very good. Very limited options for vegetarians. RECOMMENDATIONS: - Please do not tag couples along with big families especially who are travelling with kids. - The tours should be in one bus/ vehicle only and only one tour should be at a time to avoid wastage of everyone’s time. If you don’t have many people in the same tour we don’t mind paying a little extra for a private tour. - Timings for pick up should be fixed and maximum wait time should be 10 minutes so that others time is not wasted due to a few people. Some guides were strict and that is a good policy. We hope you make these suggested changes for an even better experience in future. Thanks once again.

The overall experience has been satisfying. This is my third tour through travel triangle and they did not disappoint. Also would like to highlight the efforts from Simran Kaur who was continuously in touch to check the status of the trip and if any issues faced. She was calm and helpful from the start of the tour planning till the end. Appreciate her efforts. Looking forward to the next destination

Good: Abishek and Kanwaljeet Singh coordinated my trip. They were very supportive throughout. The tours in Istanbul, Capadoccia were great. Private transfers were excellent. Improve: expensive, private transfer team could speak english, could improve flexibility of tour options. I booked visa on own and sent it for confirmation to the team and it was confirmed a week ago. However, 2 hours before the trip i was told the visa had an issue and charged 6300 for instant visa. This could have been handled better

It was a great trip, however with old people become a bit hectic Pamakule tour was 3hours one way from Antalya, the tour started actually at 2pm in the hot sun, which was really tiring

The coordination towards execution of each activity in the mentioned itinerary was amazing. Would like to go to another trip with TT in near future Hot air balloon at Kapadokya and Konyalti beach at Antalya both were amazing

Overall be had a wonderful time at istanbul and cappadocia. Both the cities were wonderful and people were extremely helpful. Transfers were amazing and seamlessly done. We were a little disappointed with the guides in capadoccia, they were not much familiar with the history of the place and didn't give us much information about the same. Travel agents were prompt in replying to us over WhatsApp but weren't much familiar with the local information so they weren't able to help us. Hotel rooms were decent but the last property was pathetic, breakfast was bad and the receptionist at bekdas was rude and I'll mannered. Breakfast spread at Sokullu Pasa and Dedeli Konak was good and customised as per our needs which was awesome.

We had a pleasant experience by choosing travel triangle to plan our trip. You guys have done a great job with the itinerary and accommodating any modifications suggested by us. We never faced any issue throughout the trip. Kudos to the team for their swift response even at odd hours due to time zone difference. Overall, we are immensely pleased with how our trip went and will surely recommend Travel Triangle in our circle. Thanks!!

Fly Goldfinch made our 7 nights and 8 days in Turkey very enjoyable. They were always accessible to answer any questions I had, and they did it as quickly as they could. I was able to properly plan my trip thanks to all the information they gave me. I truly want to bring up Sakshi, Amir, and Pooja. Sakshi made easy work of organizing our vacation, Amir handled all of my ad hoc needs and support while we were in Turkey, and Pooja assisted us with obtaining our visas. I flew to Turkey through Fly High Global. The trip was quite well planned. We didn't have any tours booked on days we were flying which helped us to have ample rest even though the internal flights within Turkey were delayed by few hours. Abhishek customized Hotels according to our choice. We liked agent's service for processing of our visa and helping us with itinerary. Me and my husband with two others recently had the pleasure of booking a 10-day Turkey trip with Travel Triangle, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was organized seamlessly, and the team at Travel Triangle made sure our journey through Istanbul, Antalya, and Cappadocia was filled with memorable moments. Istanbul: Our trip began in the vibrant city of Istanbul, and everything was very well arranged. From exploring the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque to enjoying a boat ride to Princess Island, every detail was taken care of. The local guide provided insightful knowledge of the city’s history, and the accommodations were comfortable and centrally located, allowing us to explore on our own as well. Only in Princess Island, the guide could have been more helpful in explaining the island insights rather than just dropping us to the place and explore on our own. Antalya: In Antalya, Travel Triangle arranged an excellent blend of historical tours and leisure time on the beautiful beaches. The guided visit to the ancient city of Perge, Pammukale, Old town walk and a relaxing trek to 2 waterfalls were definite highlights. The choice of hotel with its sea view was perfect! Cappadocia: Cappadocia was the highlight of the trip! We approached Travel Triangle in the last minute to book Hot air balloon and they didn't disappoint us. They planned a magical experience with the hot air balloon ride, which was a dream come true. The fairy chimneys, underground cities and even ATV ride at sunset were fascinating. I’m grateful for the attention to detail, from the transport to the personalized local tours. Every activity was well-timed, allowing us to soak in the surreal landscapes. Overall: The only drawback was that we couldn't spend more time in each place as it was a group trip or we weren't allowed to alter . We were taken to multiple jewelry shop / workshop which personally felt was not required. We would have enjoyed more if they had taken us to lot more historical place. However, the tour was perfectly balanced between sightseeing, adventure, and relaxation. I highly recommend Travel Triangle for anyone looking to explore Turkey, as their services made this trip truly special.

Overall experience was good Hotels that we stayed in istanbul and antalya were ok and not upto our expectations Tour guides in most tours were good , food provided was satisfactory during the tours Being vegetarians ,we faced lot of issues with food, there were not many options for veg food everywhere we stayed (in and around) so the hotel recommendations need to be better and around vegetarian restaurants Hot air balloon ride well conducted in goreme was our best memory
